As soon as I opened the package I knew I made the right decision ordering this jacket. One look and you can tell it's well made compared to other items out there. It's warm without being sweltering. Water runs off of the material with no problem. The hood easily attaches and detaches with a zipper, or you can use the face shield as well. Careful if you have a beard, however, as you might risk wiping that up on accident like I did. Two things for you to consider: 1) SIZE: I am between a medium and large size in general, and ordered the large. It fits fine, but snug in the chest area. If you plan on layering your clothes under this jacket or are on the 'larger side of large' you may want to size up. 2) POCKETS: the pockets are surprisingly shallow, FYI. The chest pocket is great for your phone or something similar, but the hand pockets on the sides of the jacket could be deeper. Not a dealbreaker, but something to consider if your hands run cold, you need to carry things on your person but don't want to carry a backpack around, etc. Overall, definitely recommend, with the caveats mentioned above. The jacket is made well. Found it strange that it has no tag on it, just a flap where it should be, no size and where it was made is not indicated. I selected this jacket for myself but got it in my husband’s size Large just in case I didn’t like it. Unfortunately it won’t even zip up around me and I am not a large woman. We are disappointed that now it won’t work for either of us. I can still wear it opened, sleeves are real long on me so I tried the Velcro to tighten the cuff but it only goes to a certain point which leaves the cuff to loose. I could add to the strip but don’t have the patience to modify. Seems to be warm and I don’t consider it to be a wind breaker since it is constructed with heavier fabric and lining. A really nice coat that will keep you warm. The zipper is reversed to a female setting and the pockets could be better. The material is durable and seems like it will last, with the sizing being accurate. A good all around coat. Read more

This mens winter coat is constructed very well. It is a nice thick jacket that will be great in colder weather. The exterior pockets all have zippers to prevent you from loosing your items. There are also two additional interior pockets to keep things like your phone or wallet close. The interior body of the jacket is lined in a very soft fleece like material. The sleeves do not have the same lining which we prefer as it helps to prevent getting too warm. The hood of the jacket has stretch cords to tighten it to your face when in windy or colder weather. It is also lined in the same soft material as the body. It is detachable with a zipper if you prefer a hood less jacket. The cut of the jacket felt slightly fitted compared to our other coats, but still fit according to the sizing chart. Read more
