First, the good. This coat is very warm! We have had temperatures near 0 for a week and this coat has still been comfortable to wear outside. The coat fits well too. The zipper works, even for a bigger guy. The hood is easily removed if you don't like a hood. All zippers and velcro seem to hold up well. The only bad is where the velcro is placed on the coat. It causes the sleeve yo get caught on the velcro material and pulls at the outer shell. Value for the money spent is still very high. If you want a really good looking coat, this should not be your top choice. If you want a coat that will keep you warm, for the money, this is an excellent pick. Read more
I purchased this jacket for my son who lives in Arkansas, and he absolutely loves it. It’s warm, comfortable, true to size, and not too heavy. Great coat and good price. Keeps me warm with less weight than my other winter coat. Don't like zipper pockets on flaps over front zipper but still a five star rating. Recommend this coat. very happy with it. Read more
Good insulation quality but the hood is cut too short- it should extend further out over the forehead. It should also have two more velcro closure points- one up near the neck and another toward the bottom at the waist. Good coat that could be better. Read more
I recently started using the Rapoo product line. I have Columbia and other name brands. I've been working outside for over 20 years. I tried this product out because I wanted to try something different. I've been impressed. I just went outside with nothing but a long-sleeve shirt on and this jacket and shoveled. It's -3° out, and I was warm. It's waterproof and windproof. I have three pairs of their pants as well. For the price, you can't beat it. P.S if you're an extra large go with a 2X if you are a large go with an XL I'm only doing this review because I know sometimes people don't have the money to get expensive work gear or whatever, so I just wanted to put the word out there.
