My son has thinner hair but wants to be like every other teen who poofs his hair up by his face. This product works well for that use and provides a texture. It also provides a grip and gives volume allowing him to achieve the hairstyle he desires. 10/10 would recommend and get again. Read more

I was hoping this would give my limp hair some volume or more texture but it just didn't work out for me- your hair might be different as we all have different hair texture which may be why it didn't work on my thin hair. When you open the bottle you will notice it's about half full. I did weight it and it matched the weight on the bottle so I assume that it just for transportation purposes or something. The bottle is good quality as well and I appreciate it being a good value for money. Now if the functionality of the bottle could just be a little bit better as the lid doesn't open and close easily so if they could improve the function of the lid being better that would be nice. I tried it the first time by shaking it from the bottle to the top of my head and worked into the roots but that didn't give me the texture I was looking for so the next time I put it in my hand and then tried working it through the areas I needed and that worked a little better as it gave a more textured appearance. The smell is good also I noticed. I would say if they improve the packaging giving it better functionality and easy to use also helping from leaking during travel I would add a star. Read more

The good: solid volumizing and decent hold through the day The not-so-good: the messiest styling powder I've used, and it seems to have some random fillers to speciously add to the amount in the bottle (corn starch and tapioca starch). ----------- I've used a half dozen different styling powders, and this one falls squarely in the middle of the pack. Yes, it does provide a decent hold, and it does add volume, but it is the messiest powder I've ever used in terms of waste on your hands and the amount that falls through into your scalp. It consistently leaves a white powder layer at my hairline that makes me look like Grandpa Munster (Google that one, kids). It takes forever to work this through so I don't have a weird white ring at my hair line. I think the main cause of the mess is the added corn starch and tapioca starch. Of the six other brands of powder I've used, I've never seen corn starch as an ingredient (much less the first ingredient). Maybe it serves some vital function, but it seems more like filler to make it appear that you're getting a lot for the money since I can't see a noticeable benefit from this over other brands that don't have corn and tapioca starch. I think this product just isn’t a fit for my hair. I already have somewhat thick hair, and all this did was make it look bushy and dull. It might work better for thinner styles, but for me it added volume I didn’t want and left no shine. Read more

I’ve tried a handful of styling powders before, but this one really stands out. The moment I sprinkle it in, it gives my hair an instant lift without weighing it down or making it look greasy. The matte finish is exactly what I want clean and natural, no unwanted shine. The hold is surprisingly strong for a powder. It gives me that extra grip I need to keep my style in place, whether I’m going for a messy, textured look or just adding a little boost at the roots. I’ve also used it to refresh second-day hair, and it honestly works better than dry shampoo because it adds both volume and control without leaving a chalky residue. Another bonus is the size 50 grams is a lot compared to the usual tiny bottles you see with styling powders. It feels like great value because it’s going to last me a long time. If you’ve got fine or flat hair and want easy volume with a natural look, this powder is a game-changer. Read more

This powder gives decent hold and adds noticeable texture, but the experience using it isn’t great. The container design is awkward and makes it hard to control how much comes out, you either get too little or way too much. The product also feels a bit sticky in the hair, which makes styling less smooth than I’d like. It can work for quick volume, but it’s messy to apply and not something I’d use daily. On the plus side, it does its job of keeping hair in place and the scent is fine, but overall it’s just average for the price. Read more

My son loves this texturing powder! It smells really nice as well. He thinks it works well and gives him the style he wants. It does seem to work well and textures his hair. It lasts all day including through football practice. It's a decent sized bottle as well, and is a great value for your money! Read more

I am a male in his 50s, I have fine hair, and its short to medium. I use a product every day after my shower. I use paste, cream, medium hold stuff usually but I have never tried a powder. This powder says to use on dry hair. I tried it on my dry hair and it made my hair look like it had baby powder in it, and didnt have any affect. The next several days I used it after a shower. First time I used it by itself and worked into my damp hair. It was hard to comb thru to style, felt dry and unconditioned. Next two days I mixed the powder with a paste one day, and hair tonic another. This was the best way to get results from it for me. I added more texture to my hair for sure, making it look fuller. Plus it added a little more hold than the other products alone. I like this stuff and will continue to experiment and use it. Side note, it has a pleasant scent that is not too strong. Read more
