I bought these as I needed winter socks. Most of mine are low-cut for summer use. I washed these before wearing. They came out of the dryer looking wonderful. The colors are beautiful. I've wanted a purple pair for some time and I love the teal color too. The other shades are also lovely and will work well with my winter wardrobe. The first pair I wore was the burgundy color. I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe and these fit perfectly. There was no creeping. They feel soft and lovely. They aren't thin but not overly thick either. Just a great balance between the two. I liked this pair so much I wore them all day and to bed that night. They are that comfortable. The purple pair was the next I tried. There was a tiny amount of bunching under the toes, but not something that wasn't fixable with a tug into place. So, far, neither pair has twisted around my foot. I like how they kept my feet warm. As for the band around the foot, I actually like socks that have that feature. Some people might not like it. I feel it gives a little extra snugness and support to the arch. Super nice. Not too thick and not too thin. They are so soft and not scratchy at all! Just the right amount of stretch and they dont slouch down on my legs. Pretty warm too, but my feet are always cold. Colors look just like the picture. Read more
Soft, warm mid-weight socks, thicker than regular socks. The arch support around the middle of the foot is nice. Fit as expected (for women’s size 9 foot), but if you are used to casual/light thickness socks for your shoes, these might make your shoes feel a little tight. I am able to wear them with my normal day-to-day shoes, however! Read more

These are just as they were described. They are very well made. Pretty colors. Comfortable. Soft. They stay up. Even when the weather is warm, the socks are not hot. They wash well. Cant wait to see how they work when the snow comes. I would buy them again. Read more

The medium sized socks are advertised to run US size 5.5 to10. I wear a 7 to 7.5 wide shoe and found these socks to be too large in the toe box, even after washing. The box they come in don't indicate the size, and neither do the little tags on the socks, so for all I know, I could have received the large. You can feel the seam in the toe area, which is a little annoying, and the arch support band is not particularly supportive. They are warm and thick, however, and don't slip down. I would not buy these again because they are inaccurately sized. Read more
