Customers say

Customers find these hiking shoes comfortable and well-made, with great arch support and durability that helps them last longer than other hiking shoes. They are perfect for hiking or long walks, with one customer noting they weathered a week of rocky terrain. The fit and size receive mixed feedback - while some praise the wide toe box, others find them too big in the toe area. Similarly, opinions on foot pain are di

Great shoe!

Quincy No 9December 27, 2025

This is my second pair of Merrell Moab hiking shoes. My first were so comfortable, fitting my foot perfectly, that I always checked Merrell first for every type of shoe. I have Merrell dress boots for work, as well as Merrell snow boots, Merrell hiking boots, Yokotas for walking, Merrell Sirens for wet weather, and sandals for summer. I even buy Merrell inserts for other styles Merrell doesn’t make. Sadly, my first pair had to be replaced, because after a decade my feet had grown. Read more

Nice sneakers, slightly roomy but comfortable

Alsu GalimovaDecember 26, 2025

Overall, I really like the sneakers. My foot length is 24.5 cm, and I ordered size 7.5. They are slightly big, but I think that’s normal - the toe box is quite stiff, and a smaller size would probably be uncomfortable to walk in. Read more

Exceptional Comfort and Fit for All-Day Hiking!

Scree23September 1, 2023

I recently purchased a pair of Merrell hiking boots, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase. These boots have completely transformed my hiking experience, and I can confidently say they are worth every penny. First and foremost, the fit is impeccable. I ordered my usual size, and they fit like a glove from the moment I put them on. The boots provide excellent support without feeling restrictive, and I haven't experienced any discomfort or blisters during my hikes. Comfort is where these boots truly shine. I've worn them on several all-day hikes, and my feet have never felt better. The cushioning and arch support are spot-on, ensuring I can trek for hours without any fatigue or pain. Whether I'm navigating rocky terrain or tackling steep ascents, these boots provide the stability and comfort I need. Overall, I can't recommend these Merrell hiking boots enough. They combine a perfect fit, exceptional comfort, and durability in a way that enhances my hiking adventures. If you're looking for a reliable pair of hiking boots that will keep your feet happy and comfortable during long treks, these are the ones to get. Five stars all the way! Read more

Good shoes for the price

ShaeshaeAugust 12, 2025

I purchased a pair of these for myself and a pair for my teenage daughter. I have plantar fasciitis and wide feet, and she has bunions. These shoes have worked out well for both of us. We have now had them for a few years and have worn them on many, many hikes. Several of the hikes were long, steep, and rough terrain and our feet didn’t hurt too much after any of the hikes. I do have to wear gel inserts for my plantar fasciitis, so I can’t really say how good the arch support of these shoes are. But my daughter has never complained about them not having enough arch support. The toe box is wide enough, but not so much that our toes would hit the top of the shoes. Overall, they have been good shoes for us. Read more

I highly recommend this shoe for hiking or working or casual wear. The exterior shoe design and color choices are flattering also. Overall very happy with purchase. Read more

I normally love merrell, they fit well and are usually very comfortable

Swan lakeApril 20, 2023

I’ve already owned a few Merrills and have liked them a lot; they fit well, quality materials, but this has been strange because the shoe size 11 which i normally wear, and is a bit big for me but I need the length, is very wide in the toes. 10 1/2 didn’t quite fit which I thought would, was wide in the toes too, and for all the Merrell shoes I’ve ever worn or tried on this is the most uncomfortable foot bed they’ve ever put in a shoe. It’s the insert and it’s hard! What’s strange is that the last shoe I ordered was actually leather and this one looks like it was punched out of artificial material and it also doesn’t say leather on the label anymore? What’s that about? I love the tread, and color, but they don’t run large like everyone said, but wide. Amazon charges manipulated pricing which makes shopping with them less desirable but the ordering and returns work nicely. I decided for the money to go waterproof esp. after reading you cannot waterproof the material yourself. So I ordered brindle and, the 11 fits much smaller, but might still work. I have to change out the inserts, ( hard). I’m debating between it and Columbia which has a somewhat softer bed, and wider fit. The Merrell has a little flaw on it but might not be a big issue. Quality is not the same as before. Certainly not comfort and consistency. Why doesn’t the label say leather anymore? My other Merrill’s are very comfortable to walk in. These require different inserts, and at least, and some breaking in? Still an overall nice design. Think I’ll try to find more out about the leather upper that doesn’t say anything anymore.
