This tripod mount easily holds my iPhone 14 Max, rock solid with strong spring grips. It has two cold shoe mounts for attaching flash or mic, and two 1/4"=20 screw mounts on the back for attaching wireless mic receivers, etc. This camera holder mounts to anuy tripod with a 1/4"-20 thread screw attachment. Several reviewers have complained that it won't attach to the hot shoe on their 35mm camera (which some photogs apparehtnly wish to do). That can easily be done with an adapter found by Googling for "1/4"-20 hot shoe adapter." Several other reviewers have complained that the vertical-horizontal rotation cannot be locked. This is wrong. Either their product was broken and should be replaced under warranty, or they don't know how to read the instructions. Another reviewer complained that the mount cannot be rotated to vbertical positon if the phone is centered in the mount. Well, duh! Clamp it off-centered and it works fine! I could not be more pleased with this product than I am. It is outstanding quality, perfect design, and very light weight, given its strength. Please don't be tuirned off by the very few negative reviews. They don't accurately represent how good this mount is. Read more
