This is by far the best pill dispenser I have ever purchased. It’s a decent size and I can easily get three large pills and five smaller pills in each compartment. The shell it’s in protects against accidental opening and pills spilling everywhere. It’s also sleek and neat looking in my bathroom or cabinet. The shell provides some discretion so it doesn’t look like I’ve got piles of pills laying around. Great product works well easy to fill. Had bought another one that was metal. Didn’t have any covers over the day so anytime I want to get the pills out it would just spill most everything out. As others have observed, this is the perfect pill organizer for travel. It's impossible for the pills to fall out. There are, however, two negative attributes. The first is that when it's full with pills, it can get quite heavy. I weighed mine filled with eight vitamins for each day. The weight was 5.5 oz. It may not seem like a lot, but it is significantly heavier than a plastic container. The second negative, possibly just a quirk for me, is that the days are listed in opposite order of what an American would expect. This is a well made pill organizer. That feels substantial. Outside case is well made. Inner organizer fits well into it and stays. Tabs for the days of the week work well. It feels like it will last for a while. I am planning on using this for travel so I wanted something that looked like it was sturdy and this certainly is. If I was just using it at home for a daily pill box it might be a little bit of overkill. But for traveling with it, it seems secure, and also discrete, as it doesn't obviously look like a pill box from the outside. The manufacturer included an extra rubber piece for the top. At least that's what I presume it is. Which suggests to me that the one that comes with it might be a weak point for this design, and that the constant opening and closing of the organizer may eventually wear it out or cause it to break. Otherwise I'm not sure why they would include an extra. But I am appreciative of the thoughtfulness and them knowing where the weak point of their design is likely to be. If the original wears out, I can just slip the extra one right on it. Each compartment is relatively large. I should be able to fit a day's worth of medication in each one. Or, I could choose to ignore that each compartment is supposed to be for a different day and just fill each compartment with a specific medication, in which case I think it would still hold enough for a week or more. In one included picture five half size fish oil pills go in without a problem, and one full size capsule takes up little room. If you were using full size fish oil, I can see the fit being a little bit tighter, but otherwise I expect everything will fit as it should and my medications will stay safe while I travel. I take a lot of pills and I've tried lots of products. This container is exactly what I need. The metal shell is thick and indestructible and the rubber gasket seals it tightly. The inner slide doesn't waste much space. The compartments are large and the shape accommodates different sized pills. I can fit about 8 of my largest tablets, an assortment of 12 medium to large pills, or 40 ibuprofen. The individual compartment covers are solid, but rough treatment could pull them out of the hinge. I stuck labels on them, and there is just enough space that they don't rub against the shell. The indentation in the slide makes it easy to tell which direction is up without looking at it. It's too large for a pants pocket, but might fit in an oversized coat pocket. The only improvement I would make is to remove the printed logo. I just turn the slide upside down so I don't have to see it. Read more

I've been using a pill organizer for over 20 years now. My most recent organizer was a stackable kind that each compartment screwed onto the next. It would constantly break apart and my pills would go everywhere. Other ones the little "door" would pop open. This one is so great.
