I bought this table to sit next to an armchair in my bedroom. The top is solid wood and very sturdy, and great value for the money. Assembly was so simple. Each of the 3 legs was labeled and matched to a specific screw hole so that the assembled table was perfectly level. The wood color is exactly like the picture on the website and perfectly matches my bed frame. It is also the prefect size for my space. Bought two for a Christmas gift for my husband’s man cave. I ended up applying sports decals to the tops. I wanted something that was real wood. The tops of these are very thick, nice pieces of wood. The legs are metal and they just screw in. Sturdy enough to serve our purposes (a couple of drinks and a plate of snacks/food.) I’m not sure how well they would hold up in a living room/family room for every day use - especially with children. The price was a bit steep, I felt based on the legs only but I did keep them.
