These are great, they basically double the amount of dumbbells you own, they are easy to use, sturdy, well made and so far I have been loving them. Although there are a few things you should know before you purchase that may affect you. They are a little wobbly on the dumbbell because the metal bar where you grip the dumbbell is usually not straight and the ends, it has a curve or indent, so that makes the weight plate move away from the edge at times, but I have managed to keep them in place by placing a neoprene wrap in the middle that I use anyway to keep the dumbbell from giving me calluses on my hands and now it also keeps the weight plate from sliding forward; the wobble is worse on smaller dumbbells like 25lbs and lower, since the plate is larger than the dumbbell head and when you place the dumbbell on the floor it moves the weight plate from its position, but it doesn't really impede the use of the dumbbell with the plate on, its just a little annoying. Where there's a will there's a way. Also the plates do reduce the size of the grip a little, so they might be tight for a person with bigger hands. My hands are on the smaller side since I am female and petite so it hasn't been a problem for me. Anyway, I really recommend them, they've worked for me so far and I've been able to increase my loads without having to buy a bunch of new dumbbells that are expensive. I attached photos so you can see what I mean. I gave them five stars because they work for me and my small hands. Hope this review helps with purchasing since they are not cheap. Read more
I have been looking to buy an entire set of dumbbells for my home gym. Problem is that the cost is so high and space is definitely limited. I saw these dumbbell plates on Tik Tok and quickly realized that this set of dumbbell plates was the answer to both my problems. I only had to buy my new dumbbells in 10 pound increments. If I need a 25 pound dumbbell, then I just add Micro Gainz dumbbell clips to the inner grip of my 20 pound dumbbell. This invention cut the cost of my dumbbells in half and now I have eliminated the need for 10 more dumbbells in my weight room saving me precious space. The construction is insanely good. There looks to be a a tension spring built in to the plate. This spring allows the dumbbell plate to attach easily to the dumbbell and lock on securely. I was also concerned that my hands would be too big to attach the plates to the inner handle, but the plates are very low profile and there isn't any problem with space. The plates ship EXTREMLY fast. The packaging is top notch and the plates are very solid and durable. They are powdercoated for extra protection. I definitely believe in quality goods made in the USA. I'm proud to use these plates and I plan to order the 1.25lb version now too! Read more

They definitely aren't cheap, but they work great on my Eisenlink adjustable dumbbells as they only adjust in 10 pound increments. Read more

I love the idea of these and they are well made, the finish on them is nice and they seem like they'd be very durable. The idea of cutting cost and saving space is very appealing. However after one set I'm returning them. I do not have large hands, my palms are 4 inches across. The plates are right up against my hands with my CAP dumbbells. They don't cut away from your hands like the bevel on the dumbbell weights so they rub on your forearms as you lift. The plates also slid on the handle causing it to pinch my skin. Maybe they'd work better if the handle on the dumbbell was wider or was designed to retain the plates. Not going to have a tailored fit like that with a generic product. Even if they worked perfectly, the cost is higher than it should be in my opinion. Read more
Good idea, poor execution and steep price. I liked the thought of these. Some home lifters recommended them to me instead of buying expensive increments and having the space to store. First off, the cost had me hesitate. $150 for 10 total lbs? Then I thought, I’m paying for something that is patented and American made that will save me money, so I leaped at the purchase. Upon receiving them, I was excited about the idea of having now 5-95 lbs at 5 lbs increments for my home gym. The bad.. they do not stay latched to the outer edges. They flop around and don’t secure themselves on any of my DBs. They are difficult to get on when my DBs are on the rack or the ground. The company missed an opportunity to corner the market here. They could have made a tackier inside to grab ahold of weights without the shifting around. Overall, I’ll likely return these items and look at rogue collars for my needs. Bummer. Read more
