Finally, a Bluetooth mouse that works! No stuttering or "forgetting" the connection like the Adesso S100 nightmare I had before. This Microsoft mouse knows when to sleep and when not, how to wake up along with the laptop, how to keep a connection. My only gripe is the closeness in pressure required between rolling the scrollwheel and pressing the scrollwheel as a button. I often engage autoscroll when I attempt to roll the scrollwheel. Nice size, fits the hand well. Eyeball close to the back end rather than the fingertips, so tiny gestures are not as easily made as I'd like, but I've had plenty worse. I think the difference between this "Business" edition and the more expensive choice is the package, this has an OEM-style plain brown box. Read more

I've had this mouse, and have used it with my Vaio laptop, for over a year now. I could not ask for anything more out of it. I'm not sure why some people seem to have problems with it, but I have had none. It connects to my laptop via bluetooth reliably, when I start the laptop from a shutdown, sleep, or hibernate state, and stays connected. The batteries last me about 3 to 4 months, with me using the mouse about 2 hours or more a day. I have smallish hands, and the size of the mouse is perfect for me. In fact, I may be getting a new desktop sometime soon, and if I get one with bluetooth connectivity, I will probably get another of these mice to use with it. I have to suspect that for people that are having connectivity issues with this mouse, the problem is likely not the mouse itself, but the bluetooth implementation on their machines. And I really don't understand the comments about the mouse needing frequent battery changes; I don't have that problem at all. I have to change the batteries in my various audio and video remotes as often as I have to change the batteries in this mouse. I very, very rarely give any product 5 stars, as few things are perfect. But this is as close to a perfect device as I've ever used. Highly recommended. Read more

This mouse does function as one might expect. It is easy to pair with your Bluetooth-enabled computer and it works as good as every wireless Microsoft mouse I have ever owned. For that fact, it earns three stars. But it has two drawbacks that keep keep it out of the 4- and 5-star category, and these drawbacks are motivating me to want to send it back: Con #1: It is small in size. If you are looking for a travel mouse that you only use on the occasion when you are on the road, this will probably suit you just fine. But if you like the size of the larger mice common to a everyday desktop installation, you will likely find this mouse too small. Con #2: The scroll wheel feels cheep. It feels like it was intended for a free toy from a cereal box. The scroll wheel does not roll smoothly--like other Microsoft mice that I own--and it takes so much force to scroll, that I am often pressing the scroll-wheel button, which wasn't what I wanted to do. If this mouse had the same scroll-wheel in it as my Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 - Graphite , I would be satisfied. I suppose Microsoft had to cut back somewhere in order to pay for the Bluetooth transceiver. I would have preferred to just pay more for the regular scroll wheel and got something that I would enjoy using 8 hours a day. Update: Reduced my review from three stars to one star. Con #3: After just 14-days of use, the mouse died. New batteries, and cycling the power did not resolve the problem. This mouse is no longer discoverable by any Bluetooth-enabled computer that I own. No abuse, or other rough use. I was working one day, and the Bluetooth transmitter stopped working for no apparent reason. I have a large collection of Microsoft mice both wired and wireless. All of them work fine. But, I cannot recommend this particular model to anyone. Read more
