This is not a product review. This is a product comment. I have purchased this item 3 TIMES Prior. All descriptions list this product as the Microtouch Trim PRO with USB charging cable. The first 2 were purchased through the Amazon store and the last was purchased through Poshmark. The first 2 that came thru Amazon, came in and were not the PRO Model and were AA battery operated. The product from Poshmark came in a Microtouch Trim Pro package which says rechargeable, and USB cable included. Guess what, this was the NON-Pro Battery operated model in the package and of course no USB cable because it was not rechargeable. Hope 4th time is the charm. I will update comments once I receive the 4th product. I still find it hard to believe that people can't read and confirm that they are sending out the product in the description. I already have the battery-operated model, and it works well other going through batteries. I have had no issues returning the other 3, other than it is getting to be annoying. UPDATE !!! I received my last order and, I CANNOT BELEIVE IT, BUT IT IS THE CORRECT PRODUCT THAT I ORDERED AT LAST. I still do not Know if it works as well as my AA battery that I have had. Nice receiving the correct product that I ordered. Will do my best to keep people updated if they are interested. Read more

I have used other trimmers like this and was overdue for a refresh, so figured I would get the rechargeable one. This thing tore up the back of my neck. So bad, I had to hold a paper towel on it to stop the bleeding because I was getting ready to go to dinner. I figured maybe it was just 1st use type thing and sometimes trimmers need some human oil on them to smooth them out. Nope, it did it the 2nd time I used it also after I oiled it. I am returning it. Sad because besides it cutting me badly it seemed like it functioned well. If you only plan on using this like a trimmer with the attachments, maybe you won't have the same issue. Read more

I needed something to keep my body hair trimmed. The ad looked great so I bought it. First of all, the word “micro” is a misnomer. This thing is huge like a flashlight! I have straight hair that is fine instead of thick hair. The shortest guard that comes with it is too long. It cuts to about a half inch. Doesn’t make sense if you’re trying to TRIM your body hair. On top of that, the blade is straight and the guard is rounded at the edge instead of angled so it has a very hard time catching the hair to cut it. It just glides over the hair. I ran it over my legs what seemed like 50 times and the rounded edge just wouldn’t catch the hair to cut it. Who came up with this idea? Every trimmer has a pointed edge that helps lift the hair so the blade can cut it. A rounded edge just rolls right over the hair. And because the blade is straight down instead of angled, it will only cut if you remove the guard. Ridiculous. Don’t waste your money on this item. It’s a terrible design and very impractical for the average man. The only cool thing is that it extends. So, hey, if you need a heavy, high priced back scratcher, you found it! Or I guess if you wanted to cut to the skin and don’t need the guards, it’ll work. Read more
