Based on the photos, I was thinking this would be a pretty cool dupe of some boots I saw on free people. Not at all. These didn’t even have the same vibe in person that they advertised. There was nothing trendy or fashionable or boho about these. They looked like something that would come with a bargain basement halloween costume or something. The red color was very odd, not the color one would think a pair of red boots would be. Perhaps I didn’t read the description well enough but I had no idea these were “suede”. They’re floppy and thin material and the calf part of the boot hits at a strange length on the leg, and is made out of low quality , very very thin,suede-ish fabric with a crappy little zipper going all the way up. Like the kind of zipper that would zip up the back of a dress. Weird. The toe was short and stubby looking and very square and wide, giving the feet the appearance of hoofs. Bummer because i felt like they weren’t super cheap to purchase and took forever and a day to arrive— like a few weeks at least. And then the return process sucked too. Could not drop off At ups with a code. Had to print a label and have a box and then no refund until the seller approves the return upon receipt of the item— it’s been several weeks and I have heard nothing from them. My teen needed a new pair of fall boots for the beginning of school and chose this one. The heels are, at 2.5", "not that high," but they are our compromise between practical flat soles and impractical spiky heels. They are great for school: chunky and tall enough to look fashionable, but still supportive for all-day wear. These aren't the kind of shoes I'd recommend hiking in, but they'd work just fine for high school, the workplace, or a day out touring indoor places. The calves on these are a little wider than some, and can accommodate larger calves or tucked-in pant legs. Despite the extra width, they still zip and unzip, with a well-camouflaged black zipper on the inside of the leg portion. They hit my 5' tall teen at mid-calf, and seem to be true-to-size. I don't think these are real leather, but because of that, I'm not worried about my kid wearing them out in the rain or other weird weather, and the soles are chunky enough to withstand puddles, too. These are nice looking tall boots if you enjoy the "biker" look. These boots are not real leather, so I would not expect them to hold up very long to daily use. These are perfect for weekend trips on the bike. At this price they are very affordable and have the right look for my motorcycle. They are comfortable and the sizing seems to be spot on. Ordered the burgundy in a size 9. Fits more like an 8.5. They also look terrible. Super super cheap looking. The burgundy is brighter red than in the photo, there’s no texture to the boot or gradient coloring like in the photo, they look super plastic. The shaft is also very thin and has no structure. For the price these are a joke. Read more
