I've toyed with the idea of a rice cooker for years, but with limited counter space, and the cost of Zojirushis, I never took the plunge. Finally decided to try this budget one with some bells and whistles beyond the bare -bones rice cookers, and it makes fantastic rice and great oatmeal (Haven't experimented beyond that, but if all it did was make great rice, I'd be happy).
