Long story short I bought these for my husband to dress up as Tinker Bell for Halloween. They fit a little small, but still got the job done. If they came in a bigger size, I think it would have been better, but my husband has large thighs and made it difficult to pull them on and off. Use Case: running shorts that can double as swim trunks or casual shorts around town if needed. GENERAL REVIEW: solid for my purposes. The zippers seem to be well made and the materials are what I'd expect from these sorts of shorts at this price point. The rear phone pocket is something I prioritize in my shorts and they execute it well on these. The colors are accurate. The draw string seems to also be good quality. The only reason I took a star off is that one of the three pairs I ordered had the liner on one of the side pockets come apart after their first use - I repaired it with fabric glue and it hasn't gotten worse but that's still one pocket failing out of six. PROS: pretty good value; as advertised; seem to be mostly well made. CONS: I feel like all products have a failure rate on their construction so I am not going to assume that you should expect that with these, but the possibility is clearly there with these and I've owned other similar shorts with a lower failure rate when it comes to their construction within this price range. These are great gym or running shorts. I like them so much I ordered more. The zippered pockets are nice and deep - big enough to hold a phone comfortably with no worry about it falling out when unzipped or to hold a few tennis balls - and the zippers work well with just one hand. The back pocket is nice to get the phone off your thigh if going for a run. The material feels soft and lightweight. The reflective strips on the side and back are just the right size - large enough to be useful, small enough to be inconspicuous. These have completely replaced my Target athletic shorts (All In Motion Stretch Woven) because the material feels much softer, the pockets are deeper, and the zippers work much better. The durability so far is great. I've been using these shorts for the gym for the past 6 months, washing them 3 times a week, and the only sign of wear is that the text on the inside label has worn off. Note that the size guide advised me to size down compared to my normal size, and the smaller size fits snug but comfortable. If you want a more relaxed fit, you may want to order your normal size or size up compared to the size guide. Read more

These really are great running shorts. I first liked that they are a little bit stretchy and have good elastic in the waistband to make sure they stay on as well as a drawstring to add some additional tightening. I also really really love that the pockets have zippers to make sure that your car keys or something doesn’t go flying along the trail as you go along. I’m not a huge fan of the back center pocket, but this works pretty well. The fabric itself is pretty smooth which means it doesn’t rub all that much. Overall, really great running, hiking, and walking shorts. They’re well-made they’re comfortable they wash up well. What more could you ask for? Read more
