I wasn’t sure if these would be any different from regular hydrocolloid patches, but the micropoints actually make a big difference. I get those painful, under-the-skin pimples that take forever to come to a head, and these help calm them way faster. The patch feels a little prickly for the first minute, but nothing uncomfortable, and then you barely notice it’s there. I usually put one on at night as soon as I feel a deep pimple forming. By morning, the redness and swelling are noticeably down, and the spot feels less “angry.” It doesn’t erase the blemish instantly, but it definitely speeds up the process and keeps me from picking at it. The larger size is also super helpful if the breakout covers more area or is inflamed around the edges. They stay on well even through sleep and remove without pulling or irritation. If you deal with stubborn, early-stage breakouts, these are definitely worth keeping on hand. Read more

I subscribe and save to these! I get hormonal adult acne which is annoying but life. Every so often, I’ll get the really deep pimples that hurt when you poke them and I use these on them. They don’t disappear but they usually don’t get worse and some even shrink! It’s better than if I didn’t use a patch so I make sure I always have a pack just in case. It’s a bit pricey ($10-12 for only 8 patches) especially during a chaotic hormonal party, but as long as it does the job, I’m okay with it. You just peel off a sticker and apply it to the pimple in question, then press so the mini spikes penetrate. That’s it! I use them after my night showers and remove them the next morning. No issues have arisen from using them for me. Read more

I've used regular pimple patches before but this was my first experience using patches with micro-points. I read a bunch of reviews and chose this pack and a pack by a different brand (starts with a P). Sometimes I get painful hormonal breakouts (cystic acne) on my chin before my period and nothing I've tried has really worked to get it off of my face faster. These pimple patches claim to be designed specifically for "early-stage blemishes" which is when the breakouts hurt the most. I used a patch on the chin thing (and another on a painful forehead pimple that's taking ages to go away). I was so old to see this morning that the patches actually helped after I left on the spots overnight, particularly the stubborn pimple on my forehead. The thing on my chin will take more time to calm, but there was legitimate improvement overnight: the pain has subsided a lot, which was my main concern. Everything about the application process and the quality of the patches and packaging is great. The one thing I truly wish is that they gave you more per pack, or maybe just threw in a few smaller ones as extra. I'll go through the 6 that I have left pretty quickly, but thankfully I bought another kind to try. Read more

These work very well but make sure you wash your face and hands before using as i find if your skin is already oily it does not seem to work as well. These are great for those bumps/zits that are not at all ready to pop but have a ton of extra inflammation. very effective and you will notice a decrease in size and redness the very next day! One of the best patches on the market right now. They actually stick to your face all night and don’t rub off onto your pillow. They work to encourage the junk to naturally secrete from your pimples and reduces potential scarring. I like these over a lot of different brands. The only other comparable brand is Innisfree but they are more expensive ($24.00 vs. $12.99). Starface patches may look cute but they do not stick and they do not help with your pimples at all. Avoid falling for the gimmick pimples patches offered by Starface just because they look cute and try Hero instead. You won’t regret it. Read more

#1 If you have oily skin, you may have adhesion problems. My face isn't oily, and they stuck pretty well, well enough I forgot to take one off and there it stayed from Monday morning-Tuesday night when it came off while in the (2nd) shower. My nose can get a little oily, not much. (Not visible shiny but I can feel the difference.) I applied one to my nose about an hour after showering, laid down for a nap and when I woke up 1.5 hrs later, in the same position I fell asleep in, I found it on the pillow. I personally had no luck, 00 noticeable difference at all. I had 2 that I noticed at the same time, they were identical in size, color, texture/hardness/softness/_____ fill in the blank the way it feels. I put one patch on and left the other one alone. No difference at all and that's after reapplying a 2nd and 3rd patch over 3 days. I also tried them on ones that were days away from needing to be popped and the difference was minimal. The only positive thing is it blended in with my skin color really well. If you do decide to give this a go, I'd advise using tweezers to remove it from the plastic and use it to apply it also. If you didn't get it placed correctly and try to remove and reapply you will lose most of the adhesive and depending on how oily or dry your skin is it may not be able to be reapplied. Honestly, I had much better luck on a generic brand from Japan and another generic from China. The ones from China had the same issue with not being able to move it if you don't get the placement just right. Read more
