Bought this for Halloween as a prop for inside our little haunted house. I added beads and fringe to it, which all looked amazing, I am very happy with it. That said, it was only up on display for a few days so I have no real idea about how it will hold up long term. All I can say is that it is really pretty, appears to be very well made and was a perfect prop for our 2nd line themed haunted house, so I gave it 5 stars. The only "Con", it was hard to get it back into its carrying pouch even before I modified it with the beads & fringe. When I first got this I was a little confused as the way, it is fold it up you see the outside…so it was Plastic with a pattern. I was instantly disappointed, thinking oh my gosh what the heck that I just ordered. But then I opened it and realized it was an inverted umbrella. The outside looks exactly like the photo and it’s perfect. It comes in a little ladies purse, which you obviously do not need but it’s nice to have because it fits perfectly and keeps it protected. It opens up a little hard but that’s not that big of a deal. The handle is kind of a Tacky gold, but again that’s just aesthetics. Not a big deal. It does the job and looks really cute when you’re holding it. It also fits perfectly in my purse. I have quite a few other parasols that are hard to pack when I go on trips.
