These are good markers with bright colors. They come with a brush tip and a very fine tip to fill tiny details. The brush nib isn't the most flexible that I've tried, but it's fine for most art projects. There is no number or color name on the barrel. I wound up having to put numbers on them because marker colors are traditionally not great at matching the color on the body or cap. It's very likely that a lot of budget water based markers are coming from the same Chinese factory. I have three sets of markers (this one on top) from different companies that have the same body and fine nibs, but have slightly different brush nibs. The quality appears to be about the same for all of them. They're a little streakier than some other water-based markers I have and don't blend quite as well. The smooth card stock paper I swatched them on unfortunately isn't the best paper for water based markers. Watercolor paper and surprisingly, Bristol Vellum, work better with them. I added more layers on half the swatch. That shows the darker color that can be achieved and how the extra layers eliminate some of the streaking. Water based markers don't have the blendability of alcohol markers, but get close when they're on better paper. Adding water helps with blending, but again needs to be on the right paper. The advantage of water based markers is that they don't bleed through paper as readily as alcohol markers. Lay down enough layers of marker and it will bleed through most papers. I have the 24 set of markers and they're overpriced at currently $0.33 per marker while the 120 marker set is currently $0.22 per marker. Read more
