Mineral Fusion Compact Concealer Duo Cool Shade 0 11 Ounce

I looked around for a while for a product that would fit my "cover-up" needs. Then I found Mineral Fusion. I like the fact that it comes in two tones which makes it easy to blend in to your skin tone. I also like the smoothness and light texture so your skin does not feel "heavy". It also blends in extremely well and lasts all day, unless you wipe your face when sweaty. This product is the last thing I apply, over my moisturizers. The squalane oil that I use under the Mineral Fusion aids in a smooth application. Mineral Fusion is also probably the best in its use of non-chemical ingredients. I have olive-colored skin (Syrian) and the "neutral" works best for me. I've seen reviews that say it is pretty spendy for the amount you get, but this little container goes a long way and lasts a long time; realize that this is not to be used as a "makeup", it is just a "concealer" for "spot" treatment. I've been a Mineral Fusion gal for years! I finally found the correct undertone for my changing coloring and what a huge difference! Since I let my hair go grey, cool undertones suit me. I always looked for warm/yellows, then I thought neutral was my friend but this conceler in the cool tone is a perfect match! The darker color of the two matches my complexion perfectly and the lighter color works to lighten the areas I want to cover like dark circles and highlight my brow under and over. It's creamy, sheer with good coverage and blends well! But I knew that! I'm so happy to have discovered the color that really works for me at this stage of life. Now that I have had this makeup for a few days, I’ve really learned how to use it. It’s an AMAZING product. I have the blush and the pressed powder as well. My initial reservation regarding this makeup was the price and how small it is. It didn’t seem like a lot of blemish foundation, because I previously used covergirl and elf, for all skin makeup, and I have to use so much of the blemish covering stick to even cover one zit. But this mineral fusion foundations goes SO FAR. It’s coverage is unreal. Plus you get to create the perfect blend of your skin tone. I used to have to reapply powder and blush like 6 times a day because my face would react to the cheap makeup and become oily and the coverage wasn’t great. I’d literally break out throughout the day and notice new acne at night. But I can already tell you that this makeup has stopped that process. It may be more expensive, but I’m using 5 times less every day to get the same desired look. My skin doesn’t product oil while wearing it, and it’s not clogging my pores and creating acne throughout the day. But it’s worth it because the ingredients are so wholesome compared to other big name makeups with carcinogens and nasty chemicals. I've been eyeing this concealer for a while and tested it out at my local Whole Foods store and quite liked it. I ordered it for the lesser price at Amazon (of course) because I needed it for a wedding. Personally, I am very simple when it comes to makeup. I really don't like putting a bunch of layers on my face unless I really need to touch up certain areas. The Mineral Fusion Concealer is a duo palette that comes in two shades - a light and darker one. I really like this feature because you can use blending techniques to match your skin color. The warm palette I received is great for skin with yellow undertones (I'm Filipino). The consistency is thick, not runny, and opaque - which I like. I would probably mix it with a tiny tiny bit of moisturizer if you want to spread it more or let your body warmth in your hand heat it up if that works. I don't normally use foundation, so I would even blend the rest of the product around my face. I did test out their foundation and to me it was a good quality with good coverage, but I didn't want to pay for it. The packaging seems solid, compact, and easy to open. I don't have any problems with it so far and the plastic cover seems pretty sturdy against cracks if it were to happen. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it was quite expensive for something I hardly use. (I don't wear foundation or concealer as an everyday thing). TLDR; I think this is a good quality concealer with great coverage. It's quite opaque and would recommend adding a tiny bit of moisturizer if you want to spread it or let the warmth of your body warm it up. Returned it because it was a bit pricey. Read more

This concealer is perfect!!!! It works like a foundation, but with a perfect coverage, and THE best thing is that it has all these four shades, which allows me to paint my face and make it dimensional, and natural-looking! I have light-colored skin with yellow undertone, redness and melasma on my face, so it's difficult for me to find a foundation that matches my skin tone. Even though this product is a concealer, I use it as a foundation all over my face. It covers the redness as well as the melasma, and I like that the product doesn't have unnecessary chemicals in it since I have sensitive skin. Also, it goes on smoothly. I only wish that the concealers came in one color in addition to the dual color containers because by the end of a month, I've used all of the light color, and only a small amount of the darker color, which is such a waste, since I then have to order another concealer in order to get more of the light color.
