I'm going to give this makeup a 5 star review, for the main fact that I have such* a difficult time finding SHADE matches. My skin is very light/fair, but with odd undertones. Usually a "cool" is too pink for me (I already have enough pink in my skin). The "neutrals" always have too much yellow in them for me and I look like an oompah oompah! This one is PERFECT. It matches my skin tone near perfectly, and I am so happy just for that fact! As for the makeup itself, it's good. It's comes out a bit "thin". I'd like to see it thickened/richened up a bit. It is drying for my* skin, but I tend to have extremely dry skin. (I moisturize super well, before applying). I would love it if it were a bit thicker and had more of a "velvety" finish. It's just sort of in between. I liken it to old school "Covergirl" or "Maybelline" products. I like that it is Cruelty Free (I wouldn't buy otherwise!) and seems to have natural products in it. I just wish the feel, thickness and finish was a little more "luxe". It cost $30, so I was expecting a little more of a high end feel I guess. But overall, I do like it for my "daily/no frills" coverage, and I do LOVE the color and that it actually is a very good compliment to my pale, white skin! It seems like a lot of brands (understandably so) have tended to focus more on the darker shades the last few years, but we super white girls can have a hard time with finding our shade too. Not every pale white girl is pure white. I'm an exact match to Nicole Kidman, (Emma Stone, Cate Blanchett, Amy Adams, Tilda Swinton...maybe ScarJo, but I think she's probably the next shade darker than I am)..you get the idea! Anyway, I have a HARD time getting a color match, and this one is really the closest. (If I had to be picky, I might say there is a tad too much "orange-ness" in it (?) but maybe that helps me not look so much like a corpse (lol), so I'm gonna say "Yay!" ;) It goes on thin with a sponge, I tend to use my fingers with this one and then blend with beauty blender. It blends in to a very natural almost not there finish. Works well with a stipple brush too. This product I got is not oily at all; just sort of in between. (Packaging:) I wasn't impressed with the cheap, thin cardboard, no frill package (but I am very down with things not clogging our landfills and oceans, so hopefully it's OK that way?) I like the sleek, heavy glass bottle (I hate pumps and think they are wasteful!) No fragrance. I would prefer a light, intoxicating fragrance, personally, but I know a lot of people can't do fragrance, so I understand. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. Oh, by the way, I am a mature woman, well past 50. ;) In the photo example, I blended a little on my forearm. Made me realize I should mentione: For me*, because of the thin* quality of this makeup, fine lines and wrinkles do show through, a bit, just FYI*. Read more

This foundation is perfect for my mature skin that is somewhat dry. I chose the Light Olive and it blends in with my skin tone perfectly. It’s lightweight, but still provides good coverage. It goes on smoothly with more of a satin finish, not matte, and not oily. I wear the Mineral Fusion Sheer Tint SPF 50 Serum in Light underneath, and the Mineral Fusion 3 in 1 color stick in Rosette for a pop of color on the cheeks. It all works out to a very natural look, which is exactly what I wanted. Read more

After looking at the ingredients of the high priced Dior foundation for $70, I was overwhelmed with a list of non familiar chemicals, probably 50 of them. Then I checked this Mineral Fusion foundation and I was impressed with a nice list of herbs and flowers contents and nowhere near the number of unfamiliar chemicals. No wonder these others charge so much! I returned the Dior product because my conscience wouldn't allow me to be okay paying $75. Prior to this I tests out about five different products. As a senior I needed something with moisture and reflective qualities. Mineral Fusion is a medium coverage with a matte appearance. I use Burt's Balm which makes a nice reflective base for this Mineral Fusion foundation. It actually has better coverage than medium and you can use a serum/oil before application do you can manage the coverage. I'm just happy I found a product I like for 1/3 of the price. For light to medium, there are only two shades: Cool 1 and Cool 2 which is what I am using. The hardest part of shopping for foundation is finding the right shade, coverage and reflective qualities. If price is a consideration I would go to a place that has testers. Then you can find the same product for less at Amazon. Good luck! Read more

I really wanted this product to work. It applies well and the coverage feels very natural although the color is far too light. After looking at other reviews and trying to determine if the next shade up is the right option, I’m afraid the olive tones are lacking considerably. EDIT (as of Aug. 7/24): If you’re a fellow olive girly like me, then you know how hard it is to find properly toned foundations - insert Alex Anele smirk here - so I’m changing my review by adding an additional ⭐️. This photo shows my application (pre return in June) with bronzer to help darken up the tone a bit; I’m a light - light/medium and seeing as that it is mid summer, I need a darker shade. On it’s own Olive 1 is quite fair although I appreciate MF for including a foundation line that features true olive undertones. Seeing as how this shade has been consistently discounted I think I’m going to repurchase ($6 and some change in June, now $8 in Aug) and deal with the bronzing for summer. I don’t need to color mix with blue drops because the base is already a decent blend. Hope this helps! Read more

I am IN LOVE with this foundation. I won’t go back to traditional foundations. It’s pricier than drugstore foundations, but not as expensive as some in a store like Ulta or Sephora. But the quality is more amazing than I’d expected from a natural foundation. It has a beautiful finish. It’s not full coverage but is definitely buildable. I have some scarring from cystic acne, and it does a fairly good job of covering it up. I can’t wait to try Mineral Fusion concealer next. I follow a natural Catholic mom who’s a blogger. She uses Mineral Fusion’s powder foundation, and it’s the only one she uses. I was very torn between trying that or this one, but ultimately decided upon liquid foundation because my skin tends to be so dry. The shade is absolutely perfect for my pale skin. I’m SO happy I tried this!!! Read more

It was OPENED. I would NEVER purchase USED makeup! I suspected that by the look of the outside box, but I kept my mind open and hoped the outside box was just a little damaged. Unfortunately, it was confirmed. The protective seal was broken. Read more
