Minetom 25 Pack C9 Led Replacement Christmas Light Bulb C9 Shatterproof Led Bulb for Christmas String Light E17

I've been using these lights, this will be my 3rd year. Out of roughly 1700 of these lights I have, only 2 or 3 have failed and maybe 20 have signs of corrosion on the contacts but those were mostly the ones i used to line my driveway so they were pointing straight up. To be transparent, most of my lights were part of 100ft strand sets I had ordered but i did order several of these additional multi color bulb boxes so i have enough of each color to have a lot of combination options. They are the same bulbs as included with the Minetom c9 light sets and Brighttown light sets, same manufacturer, look, and colors. They hold up very well to the elements, are rugged and durable. I have dropped them from 8 to 9ft heights onto concrete and couldn't see any visible damage and the lights still worked for the seasons. I generally have them on for 6 to 8 hours a night from the week of Thanksgiving until around January 7th. I have these on 'speed dial' should I need to order more and I'm tempted to every time I see them on my feed but honestly the quality is high enough to where I doubt I will need to replace any for another few years. They may be more expensive that others but there should be no disappointment with these bulbs or their sister light sets. And if you watch them daily, you sometimes will get them on sale, I think I got a couple of boxes for $12 or so last year. These bulbs are great. The are a little longer than an incandescent C9 but that is not a problem. They are also very bright. I used these on a strand with 8" spacing around my porch and my porch light was on par with the light output of the strand. One issue I had is that one of the yellow bulbs must have a loose solder connection internally as it will light intermittently depending how hard it is screwed into the socket. Once I had it tightened just right (just slightly tighter than the other bulbs), it was fine for the whole Christmas season with no issues. I am giving the longevity 4 stars because of the one bulb, but will re-evaluate further down the road after they get some more use. Read more

I bought this set to replace incandescent light bulbs to reduce energy consumption. I placed a current tester on the line read 10.2 amps. After replacing 50 of the 125 bulbs the amp draw dropped to 8.6 amps. Needless to say, I'll be buying more of these. Read more

The color is really nice and vibrant and it's not like most LEDs where you can't even see the blue because it hurts eyes and so bright. They are bright but not overly bright which I liked. Read more

I bought these as replacement bulbs for my string of lights last year. They were still worked great this year. I bought this new box to replace the remaining crappy original lights on that string. Maybe I’ll update next Christmas this year. All the lights on that strand were super bright and none of them went out. Read more
