It's not that flimsy for being more on the lightweight side which is a good for what it does. It balances well even when the legs are fully extended so I didn't have any problems with it tipping over on me. And I was even able to keep it balanced when I tilted the tripod a little so that's a good thing. The legs stayed in place when extended so that's a good thing as you want it to hold its position when extended but also not be hard to shorten them when needed. All in all, I'm happy with how it works and the price wasn't bad either. Read more

Tripod WITHOUT Phone Holder Apparatus

This seems like a well-made quality tripod. It is easy enough to extend the legs. They snap into place easily and a retract with the push of a button manually. There’s only a screw at the top to screw into a camera, there is no apparatus included for holding your phone. The pictures listed with the product shows the additional phone holder apparatus in one of the photos. To be fair, they are grayed out a little bit. I guess that’s their way of indicating they’re not included, but I did not catch that until after I got this. I doubt many people would realize that part is not included since the description also says for your “phone”. I assume there is a separate piece you could buy separately somewhere that would work with your phone. I specifically got this for my phone and honestly it’s useless to me the way it is. It’s disappointing. It was not made clear that that part was not included. It would be better if there was a disclaimer someplace saying that part is sold separately, but I cannot find it anywhere. So if you’re interested in this, it’s probably fine for a camera, if you want to use it for your phone, you’re going to need to purchase an additional part somewhere. Read more
