The barrel is extremely friendly to my thin delicate hair and it is long enough for me to capture enough hair to create longish soft waves, if that makes sense. I can do my hair in about five minutes, which is ideal. I love that it comes with european adapters, I can take this when we go overseas - thank you! It comes with a heating mat so that you don't burn counter surfaces, another huge plus.
