I like the brushes overall but have been disappointed with two of the flat brushes. When washing them, I had lots of bristles pulling out of them which was surprising. I took hemostats and tried to crimp down on the metal flange and hopefully, this will prevent further loss of bristles. Read more

This miniature paint brush set comes packaged in a zippered canvas pouch. Inside the pouch the brushes are all held in place by elastic. The brushes have plastic protectors over the brush tips, but they are easy to lose. On the other side of the pouch is a pocket to store the included paint tray. The tray is small and has 9 pockets for individual colors. The brushes themselves have wooden handles painted silver. The brushes have a triangular shaped grip about 1/3 of the way up from the tip of the brush. The grip makes holding the brushes comfortable and secure. The brushes have different shapes, from round, to flat, to liner. They have a nice range of sizes from modest detail work to the very finest. The brushes hold their shape nicely while using them and work well with the acrylic paints I use. They clean up easily when done. All in all... fine brushes. Read more
