I ordered this pant in the Brown color, and I absolutely love it, even though the color isn't at all the golden brown shown, but rather a decidedly orange-toned rust color. It fits me exactly as I hoped it would. I ended up getting the Large size, going by the size chart for waist size (you can tell by the hip section that these are the measurements of the pant, not of what body sizes it'll fit). I'm 5'5", 140, 28" natural waist and 41" hips, 29" inseam; out of the package, the pant fits me snugly in the waist but not too tightly, loosely in the hips, and very loosely in the legs. The drawstring is functional, but unnecessary for me. Due to the long rise, I can adjust the length by moving the waistband up or down - with the waistband just above my hip bones and below my navel, it fits like a full-length pant with the cuffs hitting the tops of my feet, and moving it up to my natural waist changes it to an ankle pant length. I love that it's 90% cotton! This makes it breathable, better for my sensitive skin, and biodegradable, unlike all the polyester aka plastic clothing that's everywhere now. Cotton, like all natural fibers, does tend to shrink when washed with heat, so I'll wash in cold, fluff in the dryer on the air dry setting, then hang to finish drying. It looks great on me, with a nice relaxed-fit look that flows down well from the waistband, despite the somewhat thick and non-drapey fabric. I'll be able to wear it more casually with my athletic shoes or dress it up with ankle boots, and the roomy cut will allow me to wear leggings beneath on colder days. I highly recommend this pant, and strongly suggest measuring your natural waist and ordering based on the size chart for that! I'll be ordering more colors for sure. Read more
I’m in love!!! The colour is warmer than the photo- more of a caramel. I’ve never owned corduroy pants before, and was nervous, but they are so warm and soft. Perfect for chilling, or doing chores! I’m 5’4”, 150lbs, and normally wear a size L- that’s what I ordered. When I put them on, I felt like I had made a mistake because of how big they felt, but when I looked in the mirror I was so happy with how they fit! They are a little baggy, which is what I wanted. They are long, but I can pull the cuffs over my calves, and they stay up nicely. Waistband is the perfect amount of stretchy- the ankle cuffs are not stretchy at all. They are thinner than expected, but still keep me warm. The pockets are HUGE! I’ve never had such deep, secure pockets on my pants before. They do have a fake back pocket though. For such a reasonable price, to get a comfortable, stylish pair of all-cotton, soft corduroy pants is just lovely. Nice stretchy waist, the low harem cut isn't awkward. At 5'3" I wouldn't call them capris on me, which is fine--I don't want capris in a fall pant. A great purchase. Read more
I'm 5'3 135 lbs. I ordered a medium based on what Amazon advised. These pants were drooping all the way past my ankle even though I pulled them clear up near my bra strap! You'd have to be very tall for these to fit like that picture shows! Read more
These are absurdly large. Aside from a medium being at least an xl, the crotch to waist length is up to my armpits. I like the fabric and the leg band styling. Very disappointed. Read more
