I don’t know exactly what it is that makes me not LOVE these pants… Maybe it’s just because I’ve been dreaming about them for so long. The fabric isn’t quite as luxurious as I imagined. The length is a little shorter than you’d expect, but I knew that before I ordered. I had to get a size larger than usual and I took the opportunity to switch from black to beige. I adore the beige pair I got over summer, but the black ones run a bit smaller even being both size large. They are nearly 2 inches shorter. I'm debating returning for XL in the black. They are still full length on me though which is what I wanted, not cropped, so I would just need to be sure to always hang dry. It's hard to find things the right length for me being 5'0" and shaped like Mrs Incredible (iykyk) but these "cropped" ones are so comfy for the shorties like me that are too lazy to hem things. I bought a pair of these "baggy" pants the size chart indicated would fit someone with a 7 inch larger waist. The result was hilarious; just imagine 20 pounds of sugar in a 5-pound bag. (The description does say to size up, which is seller code for "we know our size chart is wrong.") I've included a photo showing the unstretched width of a size large (13x2, or a 26" waist.) Please, explain to me how this could possibly fit a body with a 32 inch waist? The elastic waistband is extremely tight. The thigh measurement is supposed to be over 27". It's just over 24. If you had just TOLD me to buy a 2XL I'd be keeping the pants. Come on, folks. Do better. Read more

Okay, I should probably drop a star as I was actually mailed the wrong size - I ordered a large and received an extra large - but when I tried them on, it felt like pure luck. The extra-large was massive on me - I think the large might have been as well - but because of the drawstring it tightened to my waist. It looked like I was wearing a full-length voluminous skirt (yes, touching the floor), but there was soft, smooth linen-cotton between my thighs so no chafing. I loved it, wore it to give a lecture, and received multiple compliments. Anyway, not what I was expecting, but it worked for the best. Read more
