Very impressed with this fan, it looks elegant, it is dead quiet, six speeds, reversible direction, dimmable LED, good light coverage for a master bedroom, comes with a remote control, and can be controlled with your phone or Alexa etc over wifi. I did a lot of research and selected this fan to replace a Casablanca fan that lasted 25 years. This one only lasted about 3 years. Then the motor got really noisy and it stopped working completely (no light, no motor). I replaced the battery in the remote and checked the breaker panel, but it is dead. Very disappointing. I bought 3 of these for a house under construction. It is finally finished and I finally installed these fans. These are really pretty and work well. I picked these because of the appearance and the airflow. I can confirm that these are great looking fans and produce nice airflow. Nice looking fan. Keep in mind you can’t change the light bulb, so there is one color of light. It is a warm color luckily. Looks great in my room. If you need a lot of light you will need to install canned light with it. We put one in our bedroom, and it’s perfect. In our second bedroom we added lighting so that would be helpful if we had an office in there, or say a child needed to do homework in there. UPDATE: Don’t buy the wall control. It has a horrible bright blue light that you CAN NOT turn off. When I say bright, I mean you won’t be able to sleep bright! Who could come up with such a bad idea. I’m changing my rating on the whole fan from a 5, if you are ok with a hand held remote control to a 1 if you want a wall control! Read more
This fan was relatively easy to install as compared to other traditional fans. My one and only reason for giving this 4 stars and not 5 is because at speed 5-6 the fan makes this annoying tapping noise. It sounds like something inside the fan is tapping. I tried to see if it was the light fixture but it’s somewhere inside. At speed 1-4 it runs super quiet. Read more
