According to instructions on the box, we can only add the liquid as we use and the liquid isn’t to be stored in the applicator which is a bit inconvenient for me. This dispenses just the right amount of oil and works very well. I do have one suggestion for future models and that is making it bigger so it can hit more of the scalp. Maybe 1 1/2 inches wide. This feels good against your scalp and I’m curious how much my hair grows with the oils I put in it and the massage feel this gives my scalp. The “handle” that you put the oil in could be a little bigger too so it can hold more. I haven’t had this long enough to see how durable it is but the part that you squeeze to dispense the oil seems like it could hold up but also at the same time will fail eventually.
