If I could give a zero, I would. I’ve used the Walmart and Target versions of minoxidil for 15 years and they work and feel great. Thought I’d give this a try and complete waste of money. I tried this because of the general review score, but not sure what is wrong with the reviews. For me this product is not good. First the bottle spits out the product, it doesn’t foam correctly. It shoots out half foam and half liquid. The liquid is supposed to have minoxidil and biotin, but the liquid is greasy. While Keeps and Rogaine dry relatively quick, this forms like a cream-like substance, like if you would have applied benadryl cream of the sorts. The liquid is so greasy that the bottle slips out of my hand because I have to squeeze the trigger really hard for the liquid to come out. The order came free from damage in a little box. The cream is easily applied and is in the form a a foam when squeezed. It does not leave any residue when applied.The cream can last for approximately 3 months as displayed on the box. The cream also includes biotin which is good for the hair. Foam is not Foam. It’s a liquid foam mix which comes out so fast that you end up with a very large amount of excess that can’t be absorbed and then you have to wipe it off and it’s a loss. Additionally the product itself in any form dispensed is so thick it will not absorb into the hair or scalp and again, it’s a loss. This is the case with 2 cans of three in the package. Even if the 3rd ends up useable there’s still a 66% loss of product with 2/3 being bad. Just spend the money on the real thing and don’t get frustrated and pay to do it. Read more

This is now my new favorite minoxidil product. The number one thing I like about this is that I do not have those white flakes in my hair that look like dandruff after using this. I have tried multiple products from liquids from brands I have never heard of to the foam minoxidil by Rogaine but kept encountering the same problem with white flakes in my hair after using it. I guess the other ingredients that are in this one prevent the flakes? I don't know, but I am grateful that I don't have to worry about those anymore. I also like how it is a pretty good price. I get three canisters for around $30. Rogaine sells three canisters for about $50, and I would have to worry about the white flakes. Just make sure that you have the canisters directly upside down before pressing the nozzle to release the foam for these.
