I’ve been using the TecFlox 5% Minoxidil with Biotin for a few weeks now, and I’m already noticing new baby hairs growing in spots that had been thinning for a while. The formula is unscented, non-irritating, and absorbs quickly into the scalp or beard area without leaving any sticky or greasy feeling. I love that it includes biotin a powerful ingredient for hair strength and growth. The application is super easy, and the dropper bottle makes it mess-free. Plus, the value for money is excellent two bottles for four months is a great deal compared to other brands I’ve tried. The product is gentle on sensitive skin, and I haven’t experienced any redness or dryness. The design of the packaging is clean and practical, and the durability of the formula really shows through how consistent the results have been so far . Read more
I use this mornings before work and night after shower, brushing my hair/scalp to promote blood flow and absorption. With consistent use (its been a month and some change) I have noticed my hair is growing faster than it typically does vs no product and my hair feels less thin as well. my crown area hasnt caught up to the rest of my scalp yet HOWEVER it has gotten less "baldish"/less obvious and I am noticing less shedding while brushing. the key to minoxidil is consistency and at this rate of progress i fully believe that this will give me my 20yo scalp again by the end of 2026. pro tip for hair care: seal your scalp with a beanie while you sleep so the minox has nowhere to go but into your follicles^^ Read more
Just ordered a second box of this product. Have used many different versions of this product and find this to be the best choice for my hair. Not to heavy and does not leave my hair heavy or oily feeling. Read more
The first thing I noticed about the Tecflox Minoxidil Serum was its unique spiral cap design, which promised a more precise application. However, in practice, this feature proved to be more of a hindrance than a help. The cap requires a bit of finesse to loosen, and aiming the nozzle at the scalp while squeezing the bottle can be awkward, especially if you're trying to apply the serum evenly across different areas. The gel-like consistency of the serum, while intended to prevent dripping, left a noticeable residue on my hair, which was not ideal for daily use. The tactile experience of using this product is quite different from other hair growth serums I've tried. The serum has a thicker, almost gel-like texture that clings to the scalp. While this might sound beneficial, it actually made the application process more cumbersome. The serum doesn't spread easily, and I found myself using more product than anticipated to cover the desired areas. The spiral cap, while innovative, doesn't allow for precise measurement, making it difficult to control the amount dispensed. Read more

I’ve been using topical minoxidil 5% for about 8 months now, and I wanted to leave a detailed and honest review for anyone considering it as a treatment for hair loss or thinning, especially in the early stages. First off: yes, it works — but it’s not a miracle product that will give you instant results. It’s more of a long-term commitment that requires daily application, patience, and realistic expectations. ⸻ ✅ My results I started noticing actual results around the 4-month mark. Before that, like many others report, I experienced a period of “shedding” — where it looked like even more hair was falling out. That was a bit scary, but after doing some research I found out it’s normal and often means the treatment is working, pushing out weaker hairs to make way for stronger ones. By month 4, I started seeing tiny fine hairs (vellus hairs) growing in my thinning areas — especially the crown. By month 6 and onward, those fine hairs began to thicken and darken. Now at month 8, I can say there’s clearly more density and coverage in my scalp. That said, results are more noticeable on the crown than the hairline. In my experience, frontal regrowth is slower and more limited, though I did see a bit of improvement there too. ⸻ 🧴 Application and daily use I use the liquid version with the dropper. At first, applying it twice a day felt like a hassle, but it quickly became part of my routine (morning and night). It dries relatively fast, though it can leave a bit of a greasy or tacky feel. If you have sensitive skin, it may cause some dryness or flaking — I had mild itching early on, but nothing severe. If your scalp is easily irritated, you might want to try the foam version, which is gentler and dries faster, though usually more expensive. Minoxidil 5% topical solution has made a real difference for me. It hasn’t completely reversed my hair loss, but it has definitely slowed it down and helped me regrow some of what I lost — especially in the crown area. It’s not for everyone, and it won’t work miracles, but for people like me who started early and stayed consistent, it can absolutely be worth it. I’d recommend using it alongside a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo, and if possible, checking in with a dermatologist to rule out other causes of hair loss. Bottom line: if you’re willing to commit to a daily routine and stick with it for several months, minoxidil is worth trying. Just don’t give up too soon, and don’t expect overnight success. This is a long game — but it can pay off. Read more
I’ve been using Minoxidil for about 5 months now. I haven’t seen noticeable new hair growth yet, but I do see less hair loss. The shedding has definitely slowed down compared to before. The cap is very convenient and easy to use. Also it makes my already oily hair much oilier by the next day. Because of that, I have to wash my hair every morning. Read more
