Summary: I chose this product because I have a bit of thinning along my hairline. Minoxidil has been approved for a while for topical use to help regrow hair. The key to this product is it must be used exactly as directed on the bottle, twice every day, to see results. One key part is to massage it into the scalp with your fingertips. It has a pleasant scent of essential oils. I would make sure to shake it up before use, just to make sure all essential oils are mixed well before spraying. It does not have a greasy or oily feel once dry. You do not need to saturate the area. One spray per area should be enough. And don't forget to wash your hands after use! The first month or so, you may notice more hair shedding, which is normal when starting minoxidil. It may take 2 to 4 months before you start seeing new growth (fine, fuzzy hairs) and 4 to 6 months before significant, noticeable regrowth and thickening of hairs is seen. In short, be patient and consistent with twice daily use for optimal results. I've only been using for about 2 months and have noticed some fine hair regrowth in the areas that I sprayed. Based on this, I would say the product does work when used as described. I would recommend to someone who is willing to put in the time and dedication to use every day as directed and has the patience to wait for results. This is a review of Minoxidil for Men Beard Growth Kit, Minoxidil for Women Hair Growth Kit, Regrowth Treatment, Minoxidil 5%. Brand: ONEPIC So far, this minoxidil works as well as other generics my husband has used, though he has only used it for a month or so. He likes the sprayer bottle. It works well, dispensing product easily and reliably. The problem is the scent. To me, the scent is ok and rather light, but my husband finds it strong and off-putting. Update: It took a 2-3 months of consistent use, but now I clearly have new growth. I originally was skeptical and had given 3 stars, but I’m updating to 5 because it actually works! Even my hair girl told me yesterday when she was doing my hair that I had a ton of new hairs coming in all over. Yay! For the price, try it out…make sure to give it around 3 months before coming to conclusions. I’ve been using this for a couple months, as you can see in my picture, the bottle is almost gone. I wanted to be able to give an honest review. At this point, the jury is still out. I will say that the smell is very light, yet nice, and the spray application is very easy. I had been using scalp oil for a couple years, and I decided to switch to minoxidil since it’s said to be the only thing that is actually effective. My friend has noticed a massive difference taking oral minoxidil, but it can also cause unwanted body hair. As a female, I can say I don’t want body hair…Anyway, over the last couple months, my shedding has gotten terrible and my shower drain keeps getting clogged. This is a side effect of starting minoxidil, apparently. It has finally slowed down, so maybe it’s a sign that it’s starting to work.
