I've been using the Kirkland brand for years. But now it's getting difficult to find. Amazon has their own version, but I bought it here for the low price. As far as if it works or not, so far the top of my head has hair, but I'm slowly losing hair in the front. It's heredity. My parents don't have hair loss but perhaps my grandparents or before them, may have had hair loss, and I happen to have it. I went to Bosley for a hair transplant. But their minoxidil is expensive & so is their finasteride medication. I buy generic products. Of course, they weren't happy I buy generic but who wants to pay the premium price which is ridiculous. I also use Biotin. They say that helps in helping grow hair, maintaining hair growth, or preventing hair loss. I use all three: Minoxidil, Finasteride & Biotin. Use the product after taking a shower, wait until your head is dry, then add the drops on your head. Morning & Evening. Try to avoid walking in the rain, snow, swimming pool, spa, etc. Do those after, or it'll wash off. This product isn't for your face, arms, legs, body or elsewhere!!! People keep on asking if you can. It'll create rashes or worse. It's only for your head. Go to your doctor if you have problems not growing hair on your body. In the end, I'll continue using Minoxidil until something better comes out where I can fully grow my hair & live happy. Read more

I been using this product for over 2 year but this time with this seller I got the brand new designed bottles with crestal clear liquid inside (been always getting yellowish liquid from other sellers due to product being setting in storage for long) with 2 dropper caps and over a year and half of expiration date, you can tell the minoxidil liquid has not been setting of shelfs for long by its clear color, the longer it was stored on shelfs the yellowish it's color gets and I can notice it's more effective when it's clear than yellowish colored.. btw I get similar if not better results with this Kirkland than Rogaine Read more

This product works great for my husband but for me, I have longer thinning hair and it leaves a greasy texture behind if I use it twice a day like you are supposed to. It also gave me a reaction after long term use so I switched to using it once a day at night and it has cleared up I am just not seeing the results that my husband is. Read more

I have been using Kirkland's 5% extra strength Minoxidil for 2 years. I am very satisfied! It's as good as Rogaine at a much better price. My hair is no longer falling out and is thicker than it's been in years. I will continue to use Kirkland's. 5 stars!! Read more

I was diagnosed w/ alopecia, so my doctor recommended me to use this product w/ my two oral medication to help my hair grow back. But, I sure have a love and hate relationship w/ this product because my hair grows then falling out more even the new growth. I have been using this product for almost a year now, and it grows new growth of hair alright. Then my new growth of hair keeps falling off more than to grow new growth of hair.
