Tablet holder does the job.
This tablet holder has a very powerful magnet. The mechanism to hold the tablet is very strong and takes a little effort to insert the tablet or phone. We use this on the door of our tornado shelter so we can take our iPad with us and continue to watch the TV coverage of the storm. Read more

Strong magnet make the attachment very solid.
Really strong magnet holds this solidly to a metal surface. I use it for mounting an iPad Pro to my weightlifting rack. Really sturdy for that use case. The spring that holds the device is very strong and puts a lot of pressure on the iPad, but I don't detect warping in the case. Read more
