This is my third color because I just love the design of the bottle and the matte gloss that feels so comfy and moisturizing on my lips. The hue also last a good length of time, too, especially if you layer this on top of a long wear matte lipstick. It has a slight staining effect. They also smell nice but not overly scented. The.Best. formula I’ve had in a lip gloss. Satin/buttery smooth with lightweight feeling and a beautiful sheer pigment that leaves you with the perfectly subtle shine. The pigment J01 Until Sunset doesn’t look as orange as the model’s (probs cuz my skin tone is a slouch tanner but a light olive warm undertone in fair Asian skin tones) the shade swatched on my hands reminds me of the Crème shop’a Hello Kitty Scented Lip Oil in Peach. I did try to swatch them out on my hands earlier(not in photos), and they literally ended up looking the same shade but hello kitty added shimmer. So it’s kind of a nudeish, warm pink with bit of peach in there. The applicator is small but really precise for application by having a pointed edge and a really smooth surface for a brush. The packaging is really intriguing too— but overall I’m still floored by it’s over performance as a non sticky lipgloss: it’s literally the smoothest thing I’ve ever felt! I saw this suggestion from an influencer and I chose the color J 01 Sunset. The tube is very unique and very pretty however, the top just spins so I’m constantly worried it’s gonna come loose, but it has not. Upon first opening it it looks like it would come out as an orangey brown tone, but it does not look that way on me at all. I am in my 50s and older and on me, it shows up as a very natural looking pretty tone. It does not show up too peach or too pink just right in the middle of a natural color on my medium Caucasian skin tone. It’s incredibly moisturizing and I have very dry lips so that is a very strong plus. It does not have any scent at all. The major drawback is it has zero staying power on me. Just a daily wear natural looking moisturizing lip care it’s great, but for a color payoff there’s really not that much, especially due to the lack of staying power. It is not sticky at all. It is very comfortable feeling on the lips. It doesn’t feel like you have anything on. For the $12 price point I suppose it would depend on you what is important to you and what you’re looking for in a lip color or lip moisturizer. I find the price to be fair and comparable to others. Beautiful, soft, moisturizing, and sliky. The color gives it a sort of subtle and natural glow. But because it is so silk, it is way too easily smudged and wiped off. After it had been smudged, there is not much stain or color retention on the lips. The transfer is so easy that it's almost as if it was a colored lip oil with a hint of gloss rather than a glossy lipstick. It's really nice just not completely for me.
