These are the mini bottles but worked exactly for what I wanted ‐ to be able to test them all (a few times) to see which one I liked the most. The color part doesn't really matter unless you plan to wear them with a clear gel polish on top - which I was. For me, I have never like my real nails therefore usually got them done. A friend of mine kept telling me that I should try this, so I did. I found that it's easy to apply, goes on smooth, you don't need a whole lot to get the job done, it last a long while, meaning its cost effective. I take mine off after about a month using a gel polish remover to redo them. You dont have to, I am sure that they would be just fine if you just filled in the regrowth area. I used this for the first time yesterday as a base for my polygel application. It works well. The true test will be when I soak off the polygel and how well it protects my nails. But the colors are really pretty and for a BIAB it is true to its name. It builds well and hardens in a 1-2 minutes depending on the thickness applied. Read more

Great gel x kit! I used to do my own acrylic sets at home with forms, but I needed something more travel-friendly that required less tools. Love that everything fits into the little box it comes in, and it was definitely a lot cheaper than all the tools and products I’d purchased previously for acrylics. My nails didn’t last the promised 28 days, but they did last about 18-20 days before they started lifting, which was fine since it was my first time ever doing gel x type extensions and I wanted to make sure I didn’t have any greenies. I do wish they could have lasted longer without lifting, so I docked 1 star. But the glue/gel is seriously STRONG! I had 3 natural nails tear slightly past the free edge because I’d procrastinated on removing the lifting nails and snagged or hit something. Before any of the nails started lifting, they were perfect and super secure. The nails took about 2 hours to remove because I had to be so careful with the ripped natural nails and some nails I’d used too much glue on, but better safe than ripping half a nail off. The nail clippers were the MVP for removal - super easy to use, sharp, and helped clip off excess glue so I could free my natural nail edges! The medium almond was perfect for my preference, and I didn’t have to file and reshape at all. For 3 weeks of wear, the length was fine, but I’d probably file them shorter if they lasted any longer. The media could not be loaded. When I first tried this, I was upset because it wouldn't cure, and the heat spike was nearly unbearable. I did some research. The trick is to put a very thin layer on first, cure, and then keep building. When I am satisfied with the apex shape and color, I will cure each hand for a few more minutes, then take a cotton ball with nail polish remover and clean off any excess, uncured gel. Wash hands, apply cuticle oil and hand lotion, and they look great. I have had my current gel on for 2 weeks, and it still looks really good! I love that this builder gel is semi-soft, which allows for some give and reduces breakage. I am a nurse, so I wash my hands and use hand sanitizer a million times a day, and this is the BEST stuff I have ever had on my nails in my 16 years as a nurse. Just make sure to prep nails well, push back cuticles, and avoid curing any gel on cuticles to avoid lifting and peeling. Read more
