These are so cute! I don't know how long it takes to charge because these were out for a week before I tried them. I had turned one on during the day and thought they didn't work because they didn't turn on. That night I noticed it had turned on after the sun went down. It's a soft warm light and is decently bright without being too much for a calming ambiance. These required no assembly and are exactly as pictured. They can be clipped to something or hung on a hook. and feel like good quality. I have these out sitting on surfaces and move them around frequently. I plan to use clear spray paint to spray the top and protect the plastic from the elements. Hopefully this will help them last longer. I love these lights. We have about 12 to go around our yard & I even purchased a set to give to my friend as a gift & she loves hers too. Best solar lights I have ever purchased. I let them charge for one and a half days and they have stayed lit all night. They are still lit in the morning when I’m heading to work. I have them hanging by my garage door where I don’t have any lights and they look great. They have already been in wind and rain and hasn’t hurt the solar lights any. They seem durable. 4 stars because I thought they were metal, but look great. Just what I needed to go with a couple other solars I just put on trees. Needed an affordable way to light up dark front corner. These solar lanterns work as well you would hope. The outer casing is plastic which keeps them light-weight but they still feel sturdy. The solar charge did not run down and kept the lanterns lit all night according to my Ring camera. Which is another reason why I wanted solar lanterns. I want to keep an eye on animal traffic through my yard as seen through my Ring outdoor camera. As shown in the pics attached, they are pretty bright. They lanterns look very cool at night; I’ll make a point to keep them dirt and dust free so they hold their looks for years to come. Pretty lights for the garden or patio. Fully charged, they will glow all night. We have lots of shade, so I actually have to move them each morning to a sunny spot and return them to their hangers in the evening.
