Moen 4505BN Wynford Two-Handle Centerset High Arc Bathroom Faucet Brushed Nickel

I don't usually write a review of any kinds, but this bathroom faucet by MOEN is such a great products that I decided to write a line or two about it. This is a solid products with a very good workmanship. installing it was very easy. However you need to purchase two flex faucet connectors like Fluidmaster B1F09 or stop at your local Hardware store to get it. Don't forget Teflon tape. I received this product the last week of July, 2022 and installed it on the same day. I'm very happy with its operation. the handles are turning very smoothly. I purchased this Moen Brushed Nickel faucet to replace my 12 year old faucet in the downstairs bathroom. The delivery box came in excellent condition. From Moen. After doing a lot of research, I chose this faucet based on the following criteria: Ceramic disc valves, internal parts and build quality. Let the truth be known: The faucet is heavy. Probably close to 10 pounds. There is no plastic on this faucet. It is 100% stainless steel with brass connectors for the hot and cold water. The valves are ceramic and not the cheap plastic cartridge. The drain stopper is steel but the shaft is plastic. Turning the handles is very smooth. The drain assembly is all stainless steel and the drain handle is brushed nickel.We are going to have a professional install it. Once we have the faucet installed, I will update this review. A few weeks ago, we gutted and remodeled our entire bathroom. We chose this brushed nickel wynford faucet and shower system. We are so angry and disappointed because we noticed when the faucet gets wet, it spots immediately! The spots stick and look absolutely horrible! I thought it was a fluke so we got a replacement but the 2nd faucet has the same problem. After every use, we have to completely wipe the faucet down to reduce the horrible spots. This should not happen especially because we have a water softener! A $260.00 faucet by the brand name of moen should never do this! We have other brushed nickel faucets in our house that do not have this problem. What's going on Moen? The shower handles and plate spot as well. Read more
