I recently purchased the Moen Engage Spot Resist Brushed Nickel Magnetic Shower Head and I am thoroughly impressed. The installation process was a breeze, and I was able to get it set up in no time. The shower head itself is of great quality and has exceeded my expectations. One of the things I love about it is the magnetic dock, which makes it so easy to detach and reattach the shower head. The six different spray options also allow for a customizable shower experience. But the real test was when I used it to give my dog a bath, and it made the process so much easier and more efficient. Plus, it’s a game changer when it comes to cleaning the shower (and hosing off those random hairs!!!). Overall, I would highly recommend the Moen Engage Shower Head to anyone looking for an upgrade. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy this was to install and use. Unscrewed the fixture I had installed myself about 5 years prior with a crescent wrench, peeled off the plumber's tape I needed for the metal-to-metal connection of the previous ($125) brushed nickel waterfall-type showerhead, threaded the magnetic dock end on, tightened it by hand (per instructions), mated the hose ends incl. rubber washers, and that was it. I figured there might be leaks from the plastic connector to the main line, or maybe at the hose line ends that would require white grease or tape, but there were not. The washers make for a snug fitting hose, and the plastic-to-metal connection to the main line are tight enough. So far the spray mode switcher rocker is working well. It's been about a month and I use most of the settings, so hopefully it'll stand the test of time. I did remove the restrictor, so flow is quite good with all the modes. Even though the whole assembly is mostly plastic, it's really well finished and matches the brushed nickel of the control valve nicely. No concerns so far, magnet dock is ingenious, and we'll see how it holds up over time. Great value, imo. Read more

Just installed this showerhead; super-easy. Magnetic retention is a game-changer; can now stow w/o even being able to see the dock. Beautiful flow from options. Quiet and comfy spray patterns as well... and best of all, doesn't incessantly drip when you turn the water off. Only Moen ime seems to care at all about this. The only gripe I have about it (and a nitpick)... is the showerhead feels a bit heavy for the ball-joint threaded retention collar. Screwed all the way down, seems like it'll move slowly over time.
