I had someone else install this into my 67 year old sink that's original to my home. And the last one we replaced the plug fit and sealed fine. I was able to wash my delicate clothes in my sink. After that faucet died,I had decided to replace it with a better brand than the one before and choose Moen because I've heard so much good things about this brand. So I hired a very accomplished person to install it. I can assure you it was done correctly and everything else is working perfectly. I don't know if that part had a defect or what but it doesn't work with the new part or the old one so I know the part that is in the sink is the deffecive part. I'd have to have the handyman come and pull it with a special part and I'd have to know the replacement part is going to fit perfectly to go to all this trouble. Any thoughts? Really not happy!!!
