This 18” cargo skort fits true to the size chart (not typical sizing), feels lightweight yet premium, and offers excellent coverage with functional pockets and comfortable stretch. It looks polished while still being practical for hiking, travel, or everyday wear. MoFiz Women’s 18” Knee Length Cargo Skort stood out because it promised full coverage with real functionality—something that’s surprisingly hard to find in women’s athletic skorts. After testing for casual outings and longer walking days, here’s what I found: I ordered this because I wanted something longer than the typical mid-thigh athletic skort. Most options feel either too short or too sporty for everyday wear. The 18” length hits just about at my knees, which gives a more modest, put-together look while still allowing full mobility. It absolutely delivers on that promise. This is truly a skort (not just labeled that way), with built-in liner shorts underneath that feel soft, breathable, and secure without riding up. Fit is worth mentioning: I normally wear a medium, but I followed the size chart and ordered a large. That was the correct decision. The waist sits comfortably high without digging in, and the adjustable drawstring lets you fine-tune the fit. The stretch level is ideal—enough give for movement but not so much that it feels loose or loses shape. It maintains a flattering silhouette and transitions nicely from waist to hips without clinging. The fabric surprised me in a good way. Since it’s primarily polyester, I expected it to feel a little thin or overly synthetic, but it actually feels smooth and more premium than anticipated. It doesn’t look shiny or cheap, and it drapes well. The material feels lightweight and breathable, making it comfortable for warmer days. The color matched the listing accurately, which I always appreciate when ordering clothing online. Functionality is where this skort really shines. The two side zipper pockets are practical and secure—perfect for keys, cards, or a phone. The zippers operate smoothly and don’t bulk out the silhouette. The two cargo pockets have small Velcro closures that keep items in place while still looking stylish rather than bulky. I like that they managed to balance utility and appearance; it doesn’t scream “hiking gear,” but it’s clearly capable for outdoor use. The back loop detail is a thoughtful touch if you’re carrying something small like a clip-on accessory. Movement feels unrestricted. Walking, sitting, bending—everything feels secure thanks to the built-in liner. I never worried about exposure, which is exactly what I want from a longer skort. It maintains a polished look while still being athletic enough for travel or light outdoor activity. Compared to shorter athletic skorts I own, this one feels more versatile and age-inclusive. It’s modest without looking matronly. I also appreciate that the structure holds its shape. Some stretchy skorts start to sag throughout the day, but this one keeps a clean line. The waistband stays in place, and the fabric doesn’t wrinkle easily. After washing, it maintained its color and fit without noticeable shrinkage. If I had to note a minor consideration, it would simply be that buyers really need to follow the size chart rather than assume their usual size. If I had ordered my typical medium, it likely would have been too snug. Aside from that, I don’t have meaningful complaints. Overall, this is a thoughtfully designed skort that combines coverage, comfort, and practical storage. It works just as well for casual everyday wear as it does for light hiking or travel. The longer length, quality feel, and functional pocket design make it stand out in a crowded category. I would absolutely order another color. Read more

I love the fit of this skort. I got a bigger size according to the size chart, but should have went with my usual XL. Pockets galore and very functional. Love that it looks like an actual above the knee skirt on the outside. The fabric is very soft and comfortable and I love that the pockets will hold a lot of stuff. The string on the waist makes it very easy to adjust rightness and also making comfortable so I don't feel like it's suffocating me. Will recommend this to anyone. Read more
The skort is made of polyester and spandex material. It is a soft fabric that feels very comfortable on and moves with me not restricting my movements. I wear a size XL and this skort fits me perfectly. While I wouldn't wear a skirt hiking, if I did it would be this one! The skort is perfect for running errands. It is also perfect for outings where you don't want to bring your purse, but still need to carry, ID, money, cards etc. The pockets are secure, so no chance of something falling out of a pocket. I like the MoFiz brand. I have bought a couple different pairs of capris that are very comfortable and have stood up nicely through the summer last year. This skort isn't something that I would normally wear, but because of the brand I wanted to see what this skort is like. Read more
MoFiz 18" Hiking Cargo Skort with Pockets, Black, Medium: I’m 5’2”, 165lbs, 34” Waist, 40” Hip, 24” Inseam, 21” Upper Thighs, 17” Lower Thighs. I typically wear a M/L in tops and M or 6/8 in pants/skirts. This M ‘skort’ fits well thanks to the stretchy waistband with drawstring tie. The shorts underneath provide full coverage, are breathable and lightweight, and fit very comfortably. This skirt comes to my knee, providing full coverage of the upper thighs. The zip pockets are roomy and fit my Samsung Galaxy S21+ phone, which measures 6.5”x3.5” in its case. The cargo pockets are roomy enough for some golf balls or 1 pickleball. This is going to be my new favorite skirt in the summer because of 1) full coverage of thighs and butt, 2) very lightweight and comfy, 3) adjustable waistband, 4) full range of movement with no restrictions, digging in or constantly having to adjust the shorts. I love the MoFiz brand as their quality doesn’t disappoint. This skirt runs true to size with room to spare because of the stretch. Great quality and value. Would recommend. I hope this helps! This makes a great, casual, easy throw on to do your running around in. The outside is a light weight fabric with some stretch and the inside shorts are super stretchie. The wide waist band also has lots of stretch. I got it in the army green and it's a great shade. The black pocket zippers make a nice accent that stands out nicely against the green. I am 5'4" and it hits mid knee, which I'm ok with. It looks shorter on the model because she is problem 5'8" or taller. The fabric is similar to water replent cargo pants and has sheen. It's a cute, comfy skort. I think I will get a lot of use out of it. Read more
