Really happy with this shell jacket. It’s lightweight but still does a great job keeping out light rain and wind. I’ve worn it on cool mornings and evenings with a sweater underneath, and it’s been perfect—not too bulky, just the right amount of warmth. The fit is flattering without being too tight, and the material feels soft and comfortable. It held up well in the rain, and I was able to wipe it clean easily with a damp cloth. Overall, a solid piece—I'd definitely buy it again. Read more

This jacket is very nice. I ordered a 2x. Black because its a fitted jacket and I worried it would run small...Its true to size. I wish I had ordered my actual size xl possibly. A large..but im still going to keep it for the days I wear sweater or sweatshirts. I am 5'3 190 & top heavy. I personally do not like a big heavy coat especially while driving, so this is perfect for me!! And definitely a value for the money I love the soft polyester sleeves and that it is waterproof....also being that it is windproof it would definitely be warm as long as you wore proper clothing under. Love this coat! It isn't too heavy or bulky but kept me warm in 45-55 degree weather. Wind proof and water resistant. I got caught in a light rain (not a heavy storm but enough to open my umbrella) and the water did not seep through the coat. It folded up small enough to put in my small backpack. And a couple of times I just tied it around my waist. It's roomy enough to wear a couple of layers underneath. Plus useful pockets and the hood is adjustable. I did not use the cinch close option at the bottom of the coat as it fit fine without any adjustments. But if it were super windy I could see where that may be a nice feature. Read more

**TL;DR:** This jacket is a solid pick for chilly temps in the 50s—perfect for Texans like me who don't know how to dress for anything below 60. It’s comfy, stylish, and warm enough for fall weather, but if you're in truly cold places or windy conditions, it might leave you shivering. Great for shoulder seasons but not the dead of winter. --- Okay, so I’m from Texas. Our idea of “cold” is a high of 50°F and maybe a few gusts of wind, so you can imagine my *enthusiasm* when I found out I’d be traveling to Wyoming and Montana in September. I knew it was going to be colder than a popsicle in an igloo, but I wasn’t sure how to prepare for temps hovering in the 50s, which is *freezing* for a southerner who’s used to sweating at 70. After Googling "What to wear in fall weather when you’re basically still a human puddle," I came across the MoFiz Women's Fleece Lined Softshell Jacket, and figured I’d give it a shot. **Pro: Fit** I’ll be real—I’m picky about jacket fit. I don’t want to look like I’m swimming in a puffy marshmallow, but I also don’t want something that’s too tight (because, you know, room for all the layers). This jacket strikes the perfect balance: it’s slim enough to look flattering without being skin-tight, but still gives me room to breathe and move. I can actually zip it up without feeling like I’m being hugged too tightly by a bear. Definitely love the fit for that reason. **Pro: Fabric/Feel** It’s got this nice softshell fabric that feels a little more premium than your average lightweight jacket. The fleece lining is cozy without being too bulky, and I could definitely tell the difference when I tossed it on—super comfy! It doesn’t feel stiff or cheap, and even though it’s lightweight, the material has a bit of a sturdy feel to it. So, yeah, I didn’t feel like I was wearing something that would rip the first time I reached for a coffee cup. Very impressed with the feel of it. **Pro: Color** I got it in a classic black, which, let’s be honest, goes with everything. It’s sleek, stylish, and I didn't feel like I was dressing for an expedition to the North Pole—more like a casual fall hike or grabbing coffee with a friend who’s also pretending to be outdoorsy. But, there are plenty of other colors too, if you want something a little more fun or vibrant. **Pro: Warm Enough** Now, I’m not saying this jacket is going to keep you toasty in an Alaskan blizzard, but for the 50-degree weather I encountered in Wyoming and Montana, it did the job. It kept me warm enough for sightseeing and short walks outside without feeling like I was going to freeze my Texan butt off. But the moment it dipped below 55°F, I started wishing for a bit more insulation, so I’d suggest layering up with a sweater underneath if you’re in colder temps. **Con: Not Great Below 55°F for a Southerner** Okay, so I’m from Texas, so 50°F is basically *the* edge of winter for me. For people who are used to actual cold weather (you know, people from places where "fall" means "snowstorm"), this jacket might not cut it in anything below 55°F. I found myself a little chilly when temps dipped further, and I started dreaming of something thicker or with more insulation. So, if you’re looking for a true winter coat, this isn’t it—this is more of a "I’m kind of cold, but I don’t want to go full parka" kind of jacket. **Con: Can Feel the Wind Through It** This jacket has some great qualities, but it’s not super windproof. If you’re walking through a gusty area, you might feel the wind cutting through it a bit. I was fine when there was no wind or just a light breeze, but when the wind picked up, I could definitely feel it on my arms. Again, not a huge deal for fall, but something to keep in mind if you’re facing harsher conditions. --- Overall, I’m pretty happy with this jacket! It was perfect for the cool-but-not-frigid temps I faced in Wyoming and Montana during my trip. It’s lightweight, comfy, and stylish enough that I didn't look like I was lost in an outdoor gear store. It’s not *the* jacket if you’re heading into serious winter weather, but for milder autumn days or spring weather, it's a solid choice—especially for someone who’s more used to wearing flip-flops year-round than dealing with snow. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for something to get you through the fall without feeling like you’re over-committing to a full-on winter coat. Read more

I love this jacket! It’s light weight for cool days and evening walks - and very soft and comfortable. It’s also very flattering on. I bought it in black and will be ordering another one in a different color. I’m 5’7” /145 lbs and the Medium fit perfectly. A Large would have added extra room for something bulkier underneath.
