Although marketed for men I am a female with size 11 shoe and wide feet and these shoes fit me great. It's not unusual for me to wear men's shoes...especially this style of men's shoes. I typically wear a men's size in 81/2 to 9 and I ordered size 9 in these men's mesh shoes. I like but not love the style. I guess I didn't look closely enough to the pictures because I didn't realize that between the white sole and the black mesh there was a beige strip of plastic (or whatever the material). It's not necessarily the additional strip that bugs me it's the beige color. However, all of that is simply personal preference and has nothing to do with the quality of the shoe. Also, I am not crazy about the shoestrings. They're waxy, thin and unlike any shoestring I've encountered. Again, personal preference. Overall, I think the quality is pretty good. Although, on one of my shoes I think quality control missed a minor issue with that beige strip not completely lining up. For this, I gave my star rating as 4 instead of a 5-star rating. Because otherwise these shoes are comfortable and fit well but yet has some give with the mesh material. I really appreciate the super cushy heel on the insole. It truly makes a world of difference in comfort level. Lastly, although I am not crazy about that beige strip it doesn't mean I wouldn't want a pair in every color...because I would love to have a pair in every color. I wanted a pair of casual shoes that I can also wear to work. This pair of Mohem shoes came laced and ready to wear. I got a half size small because of others' reviews, and the shoes fit well on me. I found the shoes to be breathable - my feet tends to get hot in leather shoes, and these mesh shoes didn't feel hot. They feel pretty comfortable and the soles were like a foam texture. As others have mentioned, there's no arch support, but that wasn't an issue for me. The sole material doesn't seem like these will last long. Overall I like the shoes, but they shouldn't be marketed as business or work shoes.
