Great product, holds phone firm and steady. Using similar vent clip, holders I have not had one that doesn’t over time loosen and fail to hold my phone steady. This one after a few months of use it still holds firm and even on bumpy roads. The pavement I drive on is a great test for this to say the least. I will add that the vents I am using are intact and I would say that makes a difference to the stability of the product . It’s made well and feels sturdy due to the most critical part of the mechanism that here is made of steel rather than plastic like others I have used in the past. Every other cell phone bracket I've had has eventually wiggled loose, fallen off and broken. This one is so much better engineered. There is a metal hook that latches onto the backside of a vent louver and then the gizmo twists to tighten. It's not going to jiggle loose or get brittle and break. The ball of my phone holder fit perfectly into the socket of this mount, so I suspect it is a pretty standard size for most if not all brands. The oval part that rests on the vent can either be "portrait" or "landscape" orientation to accommodate the space available in your particular car. I've got two phones mounted to one vent (his & hers) and there's enough room to get both phones side by side. This will save me untold amounts of aggravation. I wish I'd gotten this YEARS AGO! Product works exactly as described. I like my cell phone holder but it would fall off due to the weight of the phone and the constant vibration from driving. I replaced the clip on my holder with this one and it hasn’t fallen off since. Installation is very easy and only takes a few seconds.
