This ring sizing kit is great. It gives you the correct size to wear for the ring without having to guess. I normally wear one size but it sized me up for this ring. Don’t guess at buying this ring but the kit it is worth the headaches. Read more

Overall this ring is not a bad choice if your Not trying to record your O2 levels. It doesn’t do a good job at doing it. The sleep function is fairly accurate and the app is quite nice. The ring works well under most circumstances and due a decent job at recording daily activity. I have COPD and emphysema and I know my oxygen levels were much lower than what was being recorded. I would recommend this ring because it works good and does a decent job at recording your activity. I had issues with the battery; it was not staying charged however after a restart it seemed to have fixed the problem. It functions as it should and the quality is worth the money if you catch it on sale. I don’t feel it’s worth the full price when there are other options. The app is free and it’s designed well. Not much to say on these other than.. if you're buying one of their smart rings, this sizing kit is so cheap that you really should take any guess work out of sizing and just buy this kit. Nothing worse than needing to return 2 times before you find the correct fit. Read more

The whole reason I got this ring was for convenient media control. So I can pause my audio book and have a conversation at work without pulling out my phone or doing several actions on my smart watch. Unfortunately Instead of just putting my thumb on the sensor for two seconds to pause I have to wake up the sensor controls by doing a swipe and then double tap. Only then will the hold for two seconds pause my phone. Imagine what that looks like to someone walking up to talk. I'm very disappointed in this ring. Please add a way to disable the gesture sleep stupidity guys. The only reason I got this ring is for the media controls. I'm going to keep the ring until a better option comes along. Read more

The ring came with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable and instructions that advise you to download and install an app called Momax Sense. There is also an app on the Android Play Store called Momax Smart. That is the one I initially downloaded, and it resulted in confusion and wasted time, as there is no way to install the health ring with that app. Once I realized that I had the wrong app, I installed the right one and proceeded with syncing the ring. The ring is synced by putting it inside its charging case with the charging cable connected. Make sure to keep the cover open. I closed it, as it seemed the right thing to do, and the sync failed. Once I left the cover open, the ring showed up in the app, and pairing took place. Figuring out how to register my account so that my collected data could be saved wasn’t obvious. I ultimately found its tab at the top of the settings screen. Once selected, it asked for my email address, a verification code [provided by the app but had to be re-entered], and the creation of a password. There was an option to connect the app to Google Health for sharing my data, and I elected to do so. My heart rate is normally 55 to 60 beats per minute at rest. The ring initially indicated that it was 95 bpm. It appeared to be a non-repeatable error as all subsequent readings seemed accurate. That anomalous reading, however, skewed my average heart rate. Blood oxygen and skin temperature readings were accurate with the initial and all subsequent readings. The big mistake I made with ordering this health ring is that I ordered it to fit my ring finger, size 8, instead of my index finger, size 10. It would have been easier to use its selection sensor if the ring had been worn on my index finger. The selection sensor is a small dot that resembles an LED light on the outside of the ring, but it isn’t. I set the ring to take cell phone pictures by long-pressing the selection sensor. It’s a little hard to tap when wearing it on my ring finger. Other things that this sensor can be used to activate are start/stop music playlist, start/stop video play, e-book reader page flipping, and up/down presentation slide changes. The most important thing I’ve learned since wearing this ring is that it must be worn at all times to get reliable, consistent data. Over the last few weeks, the ring has reported my sleep patterns and inter-day health data to the Momax Sense app, which in turn shares it with Google Health. In time, I expect to build a dependable database of medical information that can be shared with my doctor during our next wellness visit. Read more
