This ball is the BEST! I have a Doberman that chews EVERYTHING up and I mean everything! We had another ball like this and she chewed the string in less than a month and the ball deteriorated from her retreiving it - and mind you that was with the toy being monitored - she only had it when we were playing with it - not being chewed on her own at all! Well this ball is a GAME CHANGER! It has held up like a champ. Rope is tough, ball is great quality. The ball is light weight enough to be thrown but strong enough to withstand jaws of steel! Scout chewed through the rope in 5 minutes. Rope is not for heavy chewers. The ball smells like urine or formaldehyde. The smell irritates my nose. Don't bother with this toy. Read more
