I bought this early in my pregnancy. I didn't need it to sleep when I got it so we ended up taking it apart into the 3 different sections (one for my knees/legs in bed at night, extra neck pillow support in bed, and the longer section on the couch). Now being in my 3rd trimester I have put it back together and am using it as one pillow. It is great! Perfect back support, It stops me to turning on my back in the middle of the night, but I can lean back on the back pillow to sleep if needed while still being super comfortable, and it keeps me from tossing and turning through the night. I am 5' 7", and must say I have to scrunch my legs a little to get my knees AND feet to lay in line with the long side of the pillow, but it isn't too uncomfortable. I leave the pillow on the bed when I make the covers in the morning and my dogs both love to snuggle up in the pillow onto of the covers, so they love it too! Some of the stitchings where the zipper is was stretched/torn accidentally when I was trying to adjust it in the middle of the night- I should have made completely sure that I was off of the section I was trying to adjust, but the zipper areas are definitely a week point of the pillow. Just be careful trying to adjust the pillow with sleeping with it. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and love how versatile the pillow is because of the removable sections. Read more
My husband bought me this pillow at the beginning of my pregnancy, before I even had a bump. I started using it immediately, because I sleep better when I place a pillow between my thighs any way, and the long end of this pillow is perfect for that. I never did use the attachments - they seemed sort of ridiculous and a little hard to put together - but the pillow works fine without them. I just rested my growing belly at a slight angle on the pillow itself. I also used this to prop myself up to watch movies and eat snacks in bed, and it was super comfy for a place to rest my back and arms when it was wrapped around me. It’s also very easy to take the cover off and put it back on for washing purposes - not a struggle as with some other pillows. I loved this pillow a little too much, as I ended up breaking the zipper that attached the long arm to the rest by tugging too hard on it when getting positioned at night. This happened a couple weeks before my baby was born, unfortunately, but I was able to continue using the pillow (though not as comfortably). So why do I still give it 5 stars? Well. Now that my baby is here I use the long arm as a nursing pillow! It’s even better than a Boppy because it’s longer and super flexible, allowing me to wrap it around my midsection and position him to nurse and sleep comfortably against my chest with support under his bottom. So, I'm happy enough with this product to not bother returning it or buying another one. But, it is not as supportive as I had hoped. There is not enough stuffing in the pillows, and while I appreciated that you could remove the stuffing from one to add it to another, it really should come with a whole extra bag of stuffing. The band that connects the two sides of the pillow also stretches way too easily, so it's hard to really create that "nest" around yourself like it's supposed to. The zipper also partially ripped away from one of the pillows. The material is soft and comfortable, though. I like the two-sided option, and the flexibility to make it into whatever shape you want or need. Lastly, be warned: this thing comes with teeth--the Velcro band that connects the two sides has a plastic piece sewn into it (to fortify it, I'm guessing), and I have cut myself on it more than 3 times in the middle of the night (like, actually bleeding cut open). I've since learned to position it under myself so that it does not do that (with the Velcro piece directly against the bed and not against me), but it still is quite frustrating to deal with. I FINALLY slept through the night, the first time in about 2 months! I LOVE this pillow. My arms kept going numb with the pillows that didn't have the space for the arms, and I tried other pillows that fell flat & ended up hurting my neck. I've returned 2 other pillows. This is one is perfect! It came firm and gave me an option to take out stuffing if needed. The ONLY down fall of it, is its really hot. Its made of a velvet type of material, which did turn up the heat for me. Fortunately, I already have a fan on me, so I just turned it up a bit and it solved the problem. I love the quality of this pillow! I bought it for my first pregnancy, and I’m planning on keeping it till it dies on me. I love that it can come apart into different sections to suite your needs. Especially since your support needs change during a pregnancy. The fabric quality is very nice, and I love that the cover comes off for washing. It does take up a lot of room though, so I’d caution people who have a queen size bed and want this pillow. We have a king and my husband felt the bed shrunk because of the pillow. 🙈 Read more
This item got me through my whole pregnancy. I absolutely love it and it comes apart in different sections. We’ve actually kept it now that I’m not pregnant and we just use it separated into pieces around the house. We got one in the bedroom one in the living room room and the kids have a piece in their bedroom too. The quality is good, works amazing. Please don’t wait.
