I was not expecting these socks to be of such great quality and to hold up without stretching out after washing and drying. But they did!!! And no pilling! I have had them for 2 winters now and they are still so super soft, warm and comfortable. They are not too tight, but don't fall down, either. I started out just wearing these socks in bed or on the couch because they were so soft, I didn't want to ruin them. But I forgot and walked around in them in my slippers. These socks have held up exceptionally well. I wouldn't wear then to garden or go running, but maybe they would surprise me.
