I absolutely love these cups. So much so, I have purchased several orders of them. They do not heat up in the microwave to where you cannot handle them after heating; they keep hot liquids hot. I ordered late yesterday afternoon. They were waiting for me at my door when I woke up. They were carefully packed in thick Styrofoam - no chance of accidental breakage. I've read the reviews about the bottom half separating or leaking. I don't see how that could happen. The inside of the cup is one solid structure. The ceramic is a good thickness, not like a China teacup. The outside bottom design texture is baked on. The one pictured below was handwashed and hot coffee poured from the machine without any cracking sounds or issues. Also, I placed the cup on my very accurate scale, tared it out, then filled the cup with water. As you can see, I am almost at the rim and the weight is recorded as 18.45 oz. So, I don't know why people are saying these hold less. I'll update this post if these break in the heat of my "sanitizing" dishwasher... but so far, I am pleased and will be giving away my older mugs! Read more

These are great mugs. They are a little larger than a normal coffee cup. If you brew a k cup and add a healthy amount of cream like I do, you will still have a lot of room in the mug (see pic.) I love the fact that they are obviously a set, as they share a common terracotta color. But everyone can choose their own favorite color so we don't get mixed up in the mornings. I like that the colors and the overall look is masculine and feminine and that they look like they could have been hand made. One reviewer noted that they don't hold the heat for a long time. I'm not sure if that review has colored my thinking, but it is possible that is happening. If I drink my coffee like normal, I'm not having an issue with temperature. The mugs arrived packaged well and had no damage. We have been using them for the better part of a year and they have held up well, even in the dishwasher. No chipping or scratching at all. They have a good weight to them and I like the wide handle, too. Very comfortable to savor my coffee in the mornings. Read more
