This was purchased as a gift for my mom and this is her review: I love this stuff and it reminds me of the true matcha I used to get straight from Japan. The smell is so wonderful and the taste is smooth and slightly earthy. It has a beautiful green color, which I love, and I haven't had tried it as straight matcha tea as I usually add it to my daily green smoothies. I has such a smooth texture and blends easily into my smoothies without any grittiness like some other brands have done in the past. I find that this is a great value for the money and I would reorder this product many times. Compared to other brands of matcha that I have purchased for more money and much smaller quantities, this one is the only one that reminds me of the authentic matcha that I use to get from Japan. It does have a shorter shelf life, based on the bag that I got, but that is not a bad thing so that I know my item wasn't sitting in a warehouse for months or years waiting on me to purchase it. I would definitely buy again. Read more
