Best one to date
I have always been a Mortal Kombat fan ever since the beginning of the series. Playing the first game in the arcade is something I still am down to do. Ever since Mortal Kombat 9, or the reboot the games have just gotten better. This one is the best to come out so far. This is continuing the story of 20 years later the X was doing, but now there is time travel. While I am not the biggest fan of time travel this game does it in at least a fun way. They have future versions dealing with past versions of characters. My other favorite is the Kombat Kids dealing with their younger more brash parents. The villain Cetrion is probably the weakest link because she is just kind of there. For a character that is supposed to be the most powerful Elder God you never get the feeling that she is. The story is short sweet and to the point. Netherrealm knows how to make a fighting game story I really do wish other companies would take notes. This also includes the expansion story that really sets up for the next game and shows why Shang Tsung is my favorite villain in the series to date. The game play is Mortal Kombat. As fighting games go I find it the best in the genre. This game technically is never ending with the live towers and the online vs modes, story modes and regular towers. There is a lot of game to this fighting game. In my opinion much more then most. I fell in love with this game I actually got all the trophies in it which I rarely do with games, but I just wanted to keep going. The only thing I wish WB didn't want in the game is the gear for the characters. I much prefer Mortal Kombat X having just the costumes that I switch from vs me creating my version of Sub Zero. Overall this is a fantastic package well worth the time and money. A must buy for any fighting game fan and just kung fu fan. I can't praise this game enough and just thinking about me makes me want to go back and play some more. Until next time friends. Read more
