I don't know what all the negative feedback was all about but regardless I took the leap of faith and found this scale to work as described. I believe the trick was to download the app and set it up first before setting the scale to lbs as the app also has a setting for cm/lb. Also It comes on every time it is stepped on, as long as the app has been opened and readied for the readings. No problems with this scale at all. I am glad I purchased this and hope that other people will find this review helpful. Remember! Download the scale app called "Leaone". I had some confusion about the fact that the "Leone" App was the one that I needed. (I found that info in an Amazon Review). It also doesn't allow you to pair the scale with the phone except through the App. I expected normail pairing and so it took me longer to find the right buttons to push. Also, it asked me if I wanted calendar-based scheduling and I followed instructions for it and got told it was done. No reminders at all. So I will schedule them manually. My wife is also set up to use it from her phone. Having done the setup once made it easy to do it for her. Read more

Arrived fairly quickly, united powers on and reads weight. My issues are this unit will not connect via Bluetooth and you can not change any of the functions without the app on your phone via bluetooth. Why doesn't it say this in the description? That is one of the most important selling points. Not wanting to do the whole online kg to lbs conversions every time I weight myself. I spent 4 dollars less and bought a regular, non smart, non Bluetooth, digital scale that can switch between kg and lbs without any apps. It has become a common problem with asian imports that apps do not work, measurements on moving or working parts are 1-2 millimeters smaller or larger than they should be causing premature failing due to binding or friction, and the high stress areas are being made purposely weak in those areas during manufacturing using low grade plastics where thin metals should be used, such as bearing areas, small gears, pivotal points, handle areas, etc. Read more
